Booked online when I got there front desk guy said I needed drivers license for the room my credit card somehow wasn’t enough. Tried explaining I was waiting on a new license but had another proper ID with all my same updated proper information on it matching with my credit card. Guy rudely told me didn’t care can’t take it. Then when I asked if they could refund said he can’t do that on his part, so I was just quietly sitting on a chair my phone trying to see what I could do on my end for it. And then he now tells me it’s all refunded even tho I knew it wasn’t and harassed me out of the lobby even tho it was nearly midnight and I was completely quiet minding my own business tryna figure something out. So gotta pay $88 for a hotel room I wasn’t allowed into. And in middle of the night luckily found a room at the horseman’s motel with no problems at all with an actual polite front desk guy who let me talk and understood I just needed a room for a night for some work the next day. But still gotta pay a completely wasted $88 at motel 6 where they couldn’t get me out of their lobby even fast enough for whatever reason never mind let me use my room for the night just til early morning the next day.
