Nestled in peaceful surroundings only 3 Km from Prazeres, and designed for comfort and relaxation, this spacious 3-bedroom villa is a true haven for those seeking tranquillity and quality time surrounded by nature. The villa features inviting common areas, including a rear barbecue room – perfect for enjoying evening meals with family and friends - and views of the surrounding countryside and distant sea. Set higher and accessed by stairs from the parking area, as you enter the villa you will find the living and dining room, and a separate fully equipped kitchen. The spacious barbecue room is seamlessly connected to the kitchen and opens to an inviting outdoor side terrace. Equipped with a dining table and chairs for 8, this area is ideal for informal dining and enjoying warm summer evenings. A guest toilet is also available in ground floor. Going up the stairs you can find the 3 bedrooms, a master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, one double bedroom with an extra bed that fits up to three persons and another double bedroom. There is a shared family bathroom in the same floor. Close by is a small snack bar and mini-market for everyday gorceries and Prazeres is only 3 Km away. There are various levadas and hiking trails in the surrounding area.

Nearby In the tranquil countryside around Yellow House, you can find some small snack-bars and mini-markets, perfect for morning bread, a few groceries or a quick coffee. Bar O Papagaio, 80m up the road is the nearest one. The nearest Village is Prazeres, just over 3 Km away, and here you can find a greater selection of facilities, including a good selection of restaurants and a larger supermarket. There are three beach resorts nearby. The picturesque Jardim do Mar, the surfers’ paradise of Paul do Mar and the best known, Calheta, with its man-made yellow sand beach, marina and branded supermarket. There are various levadas and trails nearby that provide great walks, and access to the mountains and hiking trails is easy. Funchal is 45 minutes away and the airport one hour away.
Cleaning The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in. All linen and towels are provided. For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own. Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen..
Booking Notes The rental value varies with the number of people occupying the property, so please ensure you enter the correct dates, number of adults, children and infants. Please note that supplements apply should additional people join you for any length of time. To secure your reservation we require a 30% deposit, or the full amount if you are arriving within 8 weeks. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to arrival. A security deposit of 300€ is required by credit card prior to check-in. Final details for check-in and driving instructions to the property will be sent 7 days prior to arrival and once you have paid your balance. A contact number will be provided, and to be able to access the property, you need to phone this number as you are leaving the airport. It is your responsibility to contact and advise the number provided on the check-in details to advise any delays to the expected check-in time. Check-in times - at the property - are between 16H00 and 19H00. For Sunday arrivals and out of hours check-in, alternative arrangements will be made, and an additional cost will apply. Check-in and check-out flexibility will be applied where possible, but this will depend on housekeeping schedules and the departure and arrival days of other guests either side of your stay; a definitive answer can only be provided within 24 hours of your arrival for check-in and of your departure for check-out.

Location description The Villa is perfectly nestled in the peaceful area of Prazeres. The nearest café and mini market are only 80 meters away. The pharmacy Farmácia Estreito da Calheta can be found 7 km away. It is 10 Km to the resort town of Calheta, with its man-made golden sandy beach. Here you will, find a selection of cafés, restaurants, a larger branded supermarket, the marina (offering boat trips and dolphin watching), banks and a chemist. Funchal is an easy 50-minutes’ drive and the airport under one hour along the motorway

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations:
Leaving the airport take the motorway (Via Rápida) West in the direction of Funchal and after this to Ribeira Brava. Travel for 34. Km.
When you reach the end of the motorway (approximately 35 minutes) keep on the right hand lane and follow the signs to Ribeira Brava – Ponta do Sol. The slip road will lead you to a roundabout. Take the first exit to Ribeira Brava and drive towards the sea for 1,4Km. You will reach another roundabout. Take the 1st exit into the tunnel and you will now carry on for 3,9Km until you reach the roundabout of Ponta do Sol. At the end of the tunnel you will reach another roundabout; take the 2nd exit , signposted Ponta do Sol and drive through another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end, carry on along the coastal road and you will enter another tunnel. At the end of this tunnel you will come to the roundabout of Ponta do Sol; on the left you will find a petrol station and mini market. Take the 2nd exit into the next tunnel and drive for 2,8Km. At the end of the tunnel, at the roundabout, turn sharp right into the next tunnel (signposted Calheta). At the roundabout (1,6Km), take the first turn-off, signposted to Calheta, drive through the next tunnel for 1,8Km. Reaching the next roundabout, take the second exit following signs to Calheta and through another tunnel until you reach the Calheta roundabout (2,5Km). Go straight across (2nd exit) , signposted Prazeres (don’t turn left into Calheta) and enter a further tunnel, driving for 2,3Km.
When reaching the next roundabout, where you will find a BP Petrol Station, take the second turnoff indicated “Prazeres” and "Mercado Agricultores".
You will pass through Tunel dos Moinhos and the Tunel Jardim Pelado.
