In the immediate surrounding area are the many facilities you may require, including a good selection of restaurants, cafés, and bakeries, banks and a pharmacy. Câmara de Lobos is known for its beautiful bay, painted by Churchill, and its charming centre with narrow quaint streets and bars serving the many different “ponchas” and lively night life. A 5 Km seaside promenade starts here and goes all the way to Funchal, providing a fantastic easy walk by the sea.
Property Description The apartment, located on the 2nd floor, offers an open plan living area that opens through to a full length front balcony with bay and sea views. The fully equipped modern open-plan allows kitchen with SMEG appliances allows you to prepare your food whilst appreciating those marvellous views. A short corridor leads to the bedroom with two single beds that opens to front terrace, with sea views, and to the family bathroom. The master bedroom with en-suite bathroom and modern walk-in shower can be found at the end of the corridor. All bedrooms have air conditioning/heating. There is outdoor dining and seating on the veranda for those lovely warm days Câmara de Lobos is known for, or just to relax with a glass of wine whilst enjoying the views to Cabo Girão and the beautiful sunset, or watching the fishing boats go out so sea to catch the famous black scabbard fish, unique to Madeira. The laundry has a washing machine, iron and ironing board, and sun-beds to be used by the pool.

Bay side Apartment is within easy walking access to the meandering quaint streets and all means of transport, such as taxis and buses that run frequently and will allow you to explore all the island. A 7 Km seaside promenade starts in Câmara de Lobos and winds its way along the sea-front all the way to Funchal, providing a fantastic easy walk by the sea. Funchal town centre is less than 9 Km away by road, and the airport is 26 Km away a quick only 30 minute drive time.
Cleaning The property is prepared for your arrival. For stays of longer than 7 nights, a change of linen and towels, and light mid-stay cleaning of bathrooms is provided on a day and time to be advised at check-in. All linen and towels are provided, including towels for the swimming pool. For health reasons, linen for a baby cot is not provided and you should bring your own. Guests need to vacate the villa during a mid-stay clean and change of linen.
Booking Notes The advertised prices are based on a 2-person occupancy. To secure your reservation we require a non-refundable deposit or the full amount if the reservation is made within 8 weeks prior to arrival. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to your arrival. A security deposit of 150€ is required by credit card prior to check-in. The minimum stay is 05 nights. Final details for check-in and driving instructions will be sent 7 days before your arrival. The entrance code will be sent 2 days before your arrival.

If you have a car and are driving to your villa or apartment, please follow these instructions. Using GPS will take you via old and less easy roads and unusual locations: Leaving the airport take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida). Leave the Via Rápida at exit number 6 to Cam. de Lobos.
This exit takes will lead you to a T Junction, turn right to Câmara de Lobos. After turning right drive for another 100metres, you wll pass Repsol petrol station and after that turn right again until. you reach a roundabout. On the rounadbout take the 3rd exit signposted Cam. de Lobos.
After exiting the roundabout drive for about 1km on this road until you reach another roundabout.
On the roundabout take the 2nd exit signposted Centro and drive furhter 600m.
You will reach another roundabout, take the 2nd exit into the city centre. When you reach the church turn left into Rua Dr. João Abel de Freitas. Keep driving futher for another 280metres, you will Bayside Apartment building on number 39. First park your car in the available spaces in front of the building. Follow the instructions that were sent in a separate email, so that you can then access the set of keys and the garage control. The designated parking spaces for BaySide Apartment are 19/20.
