La casa è arredata in modo attraente con un mix eclettico di mobili antichi e moderni e opere d'arte originali. Pavimenti in legno in tutta la casa. Ben equipaggiato con tutto ciò di cui potresti aver bisogno. C'è un piccolo giardino / patio anteriore per sedersi e godersi la vista direttamente sui prati di Grantchester. Grantchester è la base ideale per esplorare Cambridge. Situato a soli 2 miglia dal centro di Cambridge, a 1 miglio dalla M11 e dalla A10, perfetto per un tranquillo weekend, turisti, ex studenti universitari, amici e parenti in visita e anche per coloro che desiderano accedere all'ospedale di Addenbrooke, Astrazeneca e Science Park.

Il villaggio ha 4 buoni pub, una distilleria di gin e due caffè. Tutti i negozi entro 1 miglio.

Venite e godetevi il tempo in questo accogliente e pittoresco villaggio, un luogo preferito da generazioni di studenti e cittadini in cui passeggiare per i suoi quattro meravigliosi pub (tutti servono buon cibo, vino e ottime birre) o le storiche Orchard Tea Room. I prati hanno ispirato spiriti come Rupert Brook e Pink Floyd. Il grande poeta Byron viveva nel villaggio e faceva il bagno nella vicina piscina di Bryon.

Goditi la passeggiata panoramica o pedala lungo Grantchester Meadows 2 miglia nel centro di Cambridge. O guidare, prendere un taxi o l'autobus. C'è un regolare servizio di autobus. Taxi circa £ 7- £ 10 per il centro città / stazione ferroviaria.

Loved our little place in Grantchester- it was so quaint and had everything we needed. Grantchester is a lovely little village. Parking was available just outside, the unit was clean and it was the perfect size for us. The place is decorated with the host's artwork which is lovely. Our hosts, Tess and her husband, lived next door and were always available (but we had no problems). The location is quiet and an easy drive to Cambridge. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again if I was in the area.

A lovely Victorian cottage overlooking Grantchester meadows. Well equipped, clean and cosy. Great location for the village higlights, that is, four excellent pubs and The Orchard tea garden. Easy walk into Cambridge, close to supermarket, motorway and public transport. The perfect holiday cottage!

The cottage is very pleasant and chaming, with lovely wooden floors. There was plenty of space for 3 of us. It was very relaxing. We all loved the cottage and it's location in Granchester, so near the meadows and easy walk/cycle to Cambridge Tess could not be more helpful, as we wanted to bring our bikes and was very flexible with our arrival/leave times (I know this might not be possible at busier times). Granchester is a beautiful village with great pubs (we tried 2 of them) and walks. We enjoyed cycling to Cambridge (a mile or so away), and also the nearest supermarket is a few minutes away by bike or car.

Compact, but clean and functional. Across the street from greenspace with walking trails. Owner lives near by so easy and good communication. A nice place to unwind at the end of the day.

The cottage was exactly as advertised—comfortable, attractive, and tidy. The village is beautiful and Cambridge is just a lovely walk through the meadows using public footpaths. Tess was a kind and helpful host.

1階の窓から素朴だけど、美しい農園の景色が広がっていて、食事のたびに楽しめました。家はビクトリア期のものとあって古く全体に小さめですが、設備はきちんと整備されていて、清潔でした。写真よりももっと綺麗な感じがしました。歩いて数分のところに有名な果樹園カフェがあり、おいしスコーンと紅茶を美しい環境で楽しめます。あのスコーンの味は忘れられないでしょう。

Tess the owner was lovely, friendly and helpul. The cottage is a superb gem with many extras, clean and comfortable. in a beautiful location with glorious views from the front garden patio. Grantchester has numerous walks and public footpaths. Delicious meals in the local pubs and The Orchard Tea Garden merits a visit. 15 minutes on the bus to Cambridge and we had no reason to move our car after we parked up in front of the property. We had a relaxing midweek break and would recomend staying here.

Firstly, Tess was a wonderful owner who was very responsive but not intrusive. The cottage is delightful, spotlessly clean and very thoughtfully set up for a comfortable stay. Kitchen appliances and crockery, heating, bathroom, bedding and sofas were all great. Bookshelves contained a well curated array of books. All in all, a lovely place to stay in a charming village with thatched houses, tea rooms and 3 pubs

Cozy little place with a spectacular view of farm fields and beautiful paths to walk. Very close to Cambridge. Quiet. Bathroom is a tight squeeze but doable. Tess was lovely and very accommodating.

Tess' place was the perfect place to stay in Cambridge. The flat is spacious and very comfortable, with everything you need (including a well-equipped kitchen, plenty of bed space, a pleasant living area, beautiful views and a washing machine / dryer). The location is also perfect - within easy walking or cycling distance of Cambridge but with a quieter vibe. Granchester Meadows are right opposite, which is fantastic, and the flat is also within arms reach of several good quality pubs for eating out. Tess and Suk are fantastic hosts - extremely hospitable and friendly, with plenty of local tips. I would 100% recommend this place!
