My wife and I stayed for three weeks with our 4 and 6 year old girls. We have family in the area so our trip goals were probably different from those of past guests. The apartment was clean and everything was in good order. The apartment is well run and Enrique was helpful. The only noteworthy issue we had was the mattress in the master bedroom, which wasn't very supportive and made it harder to sleep. Not a small deal for us, but this is more of a personal preference thing.

Hemos estado este verano con la familia y todo ha sido genial, los exteriores son espectaculares, 2 piscinas, un jacuzzi y mucha tranquilidad. Los niños han disfrutado mucho y el apartamento muy bonito, con todo lo necesario para la estancia y muy limpio y nuevo. Ha sido una desconexión total y lo hemos disfrutado mucho. Para repetir!!!

Perfect accommodation in Cambrils

This property is highly recommended. Nice quiet location , with pools and access to supermarket, beach the coastline. The owner communicated well with us, met us at the property and gave us a warm welcome, including cake! Perfect location 10 mins drive to Portaventura. We loved the accommodation clean and maintained. The bikes came in very useful for going into Cambrils. We were very sad to leave.

Fabulous apartment, wonderful host

We stayed 5 nights in August, 4 adults and 2 kids. Apartment was perfect, very clean, comfortable and spacious. Pools open til late which was perfect after a long and hot day in Barcelona. I would recommend a car, we used taxi's most of the time as apart from the supermarket we found everything just a little too far to walk in the heat. Typical taxi to the beach was 10 euros and 20 to Salou centre which for 6 people isn't too bad. Only suggestion would be for washing up liquid and a hand soap in the bathrooms to be provided. But overall a fantastic break

Quiet, well equipped and wonderful pools. Wonderful.

Enrique as a host was fantastic and he was on hand for any advice or problem solving. He arranged a taxi from the airport and gave good advice on bus routes as well as being a welcoming host on arrival. The bikes were a real bonus and we used them most days for trips to the beach or to Cambrils. Excellent apartment, no problems at all and highly recommended!

This property is simply perfect for families of all ages, highly recommended!

We are two adults in our 50s, one 18 year old and one 14 year old. It's on a complex of apartments with a couple of swimming pools in the middle with private access. It's quiet with a lovely overlooking balcony. Lots of kids playing with secure access for safety. There's a couple of small local cafe bars within 5-10 minutes walking distance and a supermarket a further 5 minutes away. We had a car as we were travelling to Barcelona and Port Adventura, which is a 10 minute drive away. You've got your own underground parking space and 4-5 push bikes at your disposal which is great if you want to explore on two wheels. If you're feeling adventurous you can explore the area and down to the beach 15-20 minutes away. The apartment is clean, spacious with everything you could need for a great stay-we we were here 10 days and didn't want to leave!! Enrique and family are a brilliant family who will do anything they can to help. It's on the second floor with stairs and a quick lift. We have no criticisms whatsoever and only had a couple of observations to make the place even better.; firstly there are numerous maps and guides in the property but it would be better if there could be a bit more local information put in a folder to browse through- that said we never struggled to find things to do and places to go. Secondly, there would be a benefit to having a full length mirror somewhere for those of you getting ready to go out and lastly, sometimes in a morning you could hear dogs barking in distant apartment blocks, I presume these digs were left on the verandas by owners going to work. The sound proofing in the flat is excellent so they don't really cause a problem. We would certainly have no hesitation returning here if our kids don't get too old to think it's cool coming on holiday with us!!! Steve Brookes & family, Rotherham UK.

Nice apartment, but not posh!

What sold this apartment to me was the bikes, having two teenage children. This proved to be a good idea, as our son in particular loved being able to be more independent if he wanted to be. When we first used the bikes, they were not in very good condition but I emailed Enrique one morning and he came the same day to try to fix them, even bringing us one bike from his home. Great service. We really enjoyed using the cycle paths between the apartment, Salou & Cambrils although it was a shame it was "uphill" going home! From previous reviews, I was looking forward to a home-made cake upon arrival but there was nothing in the apartment for us so it's a good job we went shopping on the way! From the photos, I thought the apartment was going to be quite posh but it wasn't, although it was quite homely. It had pretty much everything we needed, although we found the kitchen very small. There was wi-fi which would have been perfectly adequate for me and my husband, but the teenagers were unhappy with it! It was lovely to sit on the balcony each morning to eat breakfast. Our half-term was late this year so we arrived at the end of October. We were really lucky with the weather - every day was warm and every day was sunny except the last day, which was just overcast. Everywhere was quite quiet which suited us fine. There were still plenty of places to eat and of course the supermarkets were open. We didn't use the local one at all but the big Esclat supermarket, next to the smaller Lidl, was great and less than a 5 minute drive (cheap petrol too) but we preferred the Aldi near Cambrils - it was always quiet & did lovely fresh bread. The kids used the pool on the first day but unsurprisingly, it was a bit cold at this time of year - I was impressed they went in at all! Personally,I think you need a car if you stay at this apartment although I can see from the reviews that many people haven't had one. Perhaps because we were in the off-season, I hardly saw any buses and if you have younger children, you couldn't use the bikes. The beach would be a good 20 minute walk & Salou and Cambrils about 45-50 minutes each way. We paid about £380 for a week which would be more now the exchange rate has worsened. That's fine but I personally do not think this apartment is worth over £1000 in high season. A note to anyone coming at the same time of year - avoid Port Aventura on Halloween - it was madness and the queues were ridiculous!

perfect property in a lovely quiet location.

I would highly recommend this lovely, spotless clean apartment. It had everything we needed for our stay and the air conditioning made it very comfortable on hot days and nights. The apartment is in a lovely quiet location with Salou and Cambrills a short walk and bus/taxi ride away. The owner was extremely helpful and easy to get on touch with at any time. He even picked us up at 1.30 am from our bus drop off point to take us to the apartment.

A fantastic property which was extremely comfortable & relaxing in a beautiful area.

My husband, 3 children & I have just arrived back fron a week spent in this apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which was enhanced by meeting Maria, the owner. She was friendly & helpful & put us at our ease. The apartment is like a home away from home. It is clean & spacious & the kitchen is suitable for colking full meals if one so wishes. There is a Sky box & we were able to use our own Sky card which was nice for ourselves & the children. We didnt hire a car as we enjoy plenty walking on holidays but perhaps car rental would be an advantage. Enrique & Marias accommodation comes with the use of biles for all the family. This is certainly helpful for getting around. The nearest supermarket is a 5 minute walk from the apartment. The nearest restaurant/bar is about the same. But there are many other bars& restaurants in Vilafortuny which is about a 15min walk from the apartment. I recommend this apartment highly to anyone looking for relaxation & tranquility in a beautiful location.

Highly recommended, family friendly property

Lovely accommodation, safe, family friendly environment. Everything you could possibly need is provided in the apartment including bicycles! Enrique and his wife were so helpful and couldn't possibly have done anything more to be of help their guests. Highly recommended!!
