“I have stayed at hundreds of hotels and this is by far the best, helpful, friendly and professional staff, room spotless as expected. The facilities were also very nice, the spa and restaurant were exceptional. But the biggest thing is the historic building itself, what a place, will !00% be returning when we need a country escape!”

“Dormire nella storia...in un hotel che è li da 500 anni ! Scelto quasi per caso dovendo spezzare tra il Galles e l'aereoporto di Stansed è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. Situato proprio nel centro di una graziosissima cittadina la location è calda ed accogliente. Stanze curate accessoriate e pulite. Ha anche un pub/ristorante curato e dai prezzi accessibili. Se poi si preferisce uscire, attorno si trova di tutto in pochi metri. Un plauso anche alla colazione, ricca e variegata”

“Didn't meet any staff, I was dealt with via text, which is a little impersonal. There was a layer of dust on the top of the wardrobe but everything else was clean and I had everything I needed. The towel was very small. The bed was very comfortable. The fridge worked very well and was silent. Overall the stay was fine for what I needed and yes I would return. ”
