“The room was marginal in terms of being clean. The fitness center appeared to not have been vacuumed in some time, plus there were no towels in the rack that had the word "towels" under it. And the clock was not working - new battery? I got in tmy room shower and realized that none of the dispersers worked - so I took a shower with no soap/shampoo. When I went to the front desk and asked about it, I was told they were not working and being replaced, but there was no sign indicating that fact...

“The staff was very nice! The location is perfect for Lake Lure - it’s perfect for being by Lake Lure Beach. The parking is easy. It is an older historic hotel - tiny showers, thin walls, and it is looking a little weathered.”

“Very nice, well taken care of. Comfortable bed abd spacious room, shower was large and had a great shower head. Had a great choice of breakfast foofs to choose from. Will use Comfort Inn & Suites again.”
