Welcome to Lazy Oak Lay-UP! Newly built cabin where you will be conveniently located only minutes from Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park. Cabin offers queen bed in main floor bed room, two full beds in open loft area and queen sofa bed in living area. The loft is accessible by stairs.
Fully equipped kitchen and laundry unit to make your stay comfortable.
Relax in the private hot tub or reminisce around the fire pit.(bring firewood). Enjoy the comfortable seats on the covered wrap around deck.
Hiking, rock climbing, zip lining, kayaking, awesome restaurants plus more recreational attractions (average 15 minutes away).
Charcoal grill (bring charcoal) and utensils available.

  • This is sky bridge. The most massive arch in Red River. it spans over a hundred feet and about 50 feet in the air. Probably the most famous arch in Red River, it has been seen in movies. Many astro-photographers flock here because of it's structure and clear skyline. If you get a chance, the trail is only .8 miles and very much worth it. You first walk across the top of the arch, it is so big that you are halfway across before you notice your not just on a narrow rock path. then you circle around to be under the arch.

Seemed new inside. Tastefully decorated. Easy access for check in. Beds were all roll-away beds. Kitchen table is barely big enough for two. Hot tub was clean and hot. Cabin is in a residential neighborhood. A group of dogs was often heard barking during the day and evening. It was loud enough to be unpleasant when outside. We heard noisy neighbors until late on our last night. Located 15-20 min from activities and restaurants.

Gorgeous cabin in a perfect location! Super clean and organized. Although there is another cabin located on the same property, there were privacy shields on the porch. Perfect for my husband and I’s relaxing getaway. Only 15 minutes from Natural Bridge. Secluded and quiet area but short trip into town if you end up needing something. The hot tub was amazing and some fun yard and board games included on property. I highly recommend this cabin for your next getaway!

This cabin was perfect for my (adult) daughter and me.We came to town to spend time with my uncle. The kitchen has every thing you need, even an air fryer! We enjoyed sitting outside on the porch and making s'mores over the fire pit. We would definitely stay again!

Weekend getaway.

Cabin was a great sized space to get away for the weekend. It’s very well quipped with all the supplies and utensils you could need. Well air conditioned for a 90 degree weekend as well.

A cozy, relaxing stay!

Cabin perfectly as described. Clean and well accommodating. We loved the hot tub, it was hot and worked perfectly. It’s located in a residential neighborhood with locals so not much privacy but that wasn’t concerning to us. I’d definitely stay here again! Had to message the owner to let her know the TV wasn’t working in the bedroom. Hopefully it will be fixed or replaced before the next guest.

Terrific cozy cabin

A fantastic cabin with excellent amenities and a great location! We really enjoyed our stay and had everything we could want at the cabin, including a wonderful hot tub and a fire pit in the yard. The location was great and convenient to both Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge. Check-in was a breeze and we will definitely consider renting again when we return in the future!

Cozy rustic cabin

Our party of 6 including 4 young adults ages 15-20, stayed at this cabin for 4 nights over spring break. We enjoyed hiking the Red River Gorge area. Its location was very close to all the trails. The cabin was cleaned and had all the cookware and spices needed to make dinner. Also, we made s’mores (brought the firewood). There was a staircase to the loft. It was steep with about 15-20 steps. Extra caution was necessary going down. One of us had a mishap but luckily only suffered a bruise. The plug-in air fresheners really bothered a couple of us with allergies. We should have contacted the owner about this. That was on us. It was a new clean and very nice place with everything we needed. However, I am not sure I would stay here again due to the steps to the loft.

Very nice cabin, good neighbors, the property owner Tracy is an amazing person she called and checked on us . 100% satisfied if your every down around the red river gorge and need a place to stay that's the place.
