“Elsa’s was wonderful. I truly loved chatting with Gail in the living room, looking out at the sea, about the local area. Breakfast was delicious with more conversation with the other guests. Beats a motel any day.”

“Insufficient parking when the restaurant is open. This should be an adult only property. One night a family above us had a crying baby and it was like the baby was in our room. There is no sound insulation to the upstairs unit. The bed is very uncomfortable and the mattress needs replacing.”

“It’s a shame that this inn lacks investment and renovation. The owner works hard and tries her best but the establishment is in need of modernization. Musty smell from the old carpets, old bathrooms and badly locking doors. I felt that I didn’t get value for money compared to the other inns and bed & breakfasts we stayed in during our time in Nova Scotia. This was probably the most expensive but the least value. “We stayed in the Beluga room on the main floor close to the entrance. It is very tight for two adults and luggage. It is also right next to the kitchen where breakfast is prepared at 7am. The washroom was well appointed, spotless and had great flow in the shower. Good breakfast with lively conversation.”
