“An absolute highlight of our trip, I could not recommend Marabella eco lodge more. The staff were helpful and friendly, the food was incredible, and the beach was right at the door step. We loved meeting Marta Elena, the cat, and Ginger, the dog, apparently there was another cat we weren’t lucky enough to meet.
Only a short walk down the beach brings you to Cecon, a nature reserve where you can see iguanas, turtles, and crocodiles where they are looked after by some amazing volunteers before...

“The hotel itself was not too bad. The rooms were basic, clean, perfect location, and with a working AC so it wasn’t that bad. The staff was also nice.
The REALLY BAD thing about it is that they have NO rules. They allow other people who are not guests at the hotel, to use their pool. Mostly locals with MANY kids, who decide to bbq, play loud music, and get drunk around the pool… (people would be using the chairs by our room doors and play their loud videos as well)

The people in charge who received us were very kind.
