Cottage a Candler

“Very convenient to downtown and area attractions! Perfect setup for a weekend away with the pups! ”

“The place was cute and exactly as described. When we arrived, it was horribly musty smelling. We had to open all the doors and windows and turn on the fans. There were gnats in the kitchen area and the bathroom, dust bunnies in multiple places, and a missing smoke detector. The yard had not been mowed recently and was unpleasant to walk through to the creek. There was a fire pit with yard chairs stacked on top. No firewood in sight. At the total price of $241 for one night, we were disappointed.”

“Easy check-in. Clean cabin. Excellent communication with the host.”

“Absolutely charming house and grounds. Very well stocked. For bird lovers, the birdsongs were wonderful. Lovely people. We walked to several restaurants and shops. We are definitely planning to return.”

“unable to contact owner when issue came up. if a kitchen is important during your stay this is probably not the place to stay”

“The house was clean. We loved sitting on the front porch watching the rain and having coffee. The Host was the best. I would say we would be back but we made an offer on a home so hopefully we are moving to NC.We love it!!”

“Perfect quiet get away. Property was beautiful, well maintained. The guide in the home has other properties owned by the same company that also look adorable and relaxing. We enjoyed every minute”

“Very nice and well located to the area! Full amenties and good pet accomodation! Thank you!”

“History buffs will especially appreciate this house. The owners have come up with a good compromise between historical accuracy and modern livability. The kitchen is adequately furnished, and the beds are very comfortable. Plenty of towels, and the bathroom and shower-tub are totally functional. Plenty of hot water, which can sometimes be an issue with older homes. There are multiple grocery stores a short driving distance from the place, and the downtown is very close. Easy access to the River...

“Stayed here for two nights with my husband. The cottage was exactly as expected. Quiet, cozy and very comfortable. We saw bears walking up the driveway to our car while we were sitting on the porch. First time seeing them. The birds in the evening sounded surreal. The hot tub was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this cute cabin! Thank you!”
