Benvenuti a The Mane House presso Canaan Valley Farms, dove potrete godervi la vostra proprietà privata, pur trovandovi solo un paio di miglia dalla città di Asheville.
Prosegui oltre il fienile trapiantato di 80 anni e il laghetto rifornito e resta un po '. La casa è di oltre 5.000 piedi quadrati con un sacco di spazio per distendersi.
Ci sono 50 acri di sentieri da esplorare se vuoi davvero allungare.
Abbiamo un sacco di animali selvatici come tacchini, cervi, oche, tartarughe, ecc. Insieme a 4 cavalli, uno stormo di polli, anatre e un asino di nome Jezzie.
Lo stagno è un posto meraviglioso per rilassarsi. Ci sono molti pesci lì dentro se vuoi lanciare una linea.
Cammina nella porta principale e innamorati dei soffitti della cattedrale e della scala a chiocciola. La casa è perfetta per gruppi numerosi e ha molti spazi accoglienti per la raccolta. Ci sono anche molte camere da letto per allontanarsi da tutto.
Ci sono 4 camere da letto al piano superiore.
La camera da letto 1 ha un letto matrimoniale e un bagno privato.
Le altre tre camere condividono un bagno centralizzato.
Camera 2 ha un letto matrimoniale.
Camera 3 ha due letti matrimoniali.
La camera da letto 4 ha un letto matrimoniale e quattro letti singoli. Questa è la nostra camera / biblioteca a castello ed è una delle preferite degli ospiti.
La camera da letto 5 è al piano principale e ha un letto matrimoniale.
Camera da letto 6 è il Master al livello principale. Vanta soffitti a vassoio e un bagno di qualità spa completo di doccia a vapore e vasca in rame Clawfoot.
La cucina è ben arredata con doppi forni Thermador e una gamma Thermador 6 fuochi. È il posto perfetto per cucinare un grande pasto in famiglia e ha anche due lavastoviglie per aiutare a ripulire il pasticcio.
Raccogli le storie intorno a uno dei due caminetti a legna. Colpisci la veranda per una partita di ping pong. Cattura il gioco sul televisore al plasma da 65 ". Rilassati nel patio posteriore sotto il gazebo. Dirigiti verso il padiglione all'aperto e accendi la griglia. Le opportunità sono infinite.
La proprietà è mozzafiato. Pianifica una vacanza, organizza una riunione di famiglia o organizza il tuo matrimonio in un paradiso di montagna.
Non siamo una società di gestione. Siamo i proprietari e Canaan Valley Farms è la nostra casa. Viviamo nella proprietà e siamo sempre disponibili se dovessimo essere necessari, ma veniamo solo quando chiamato, la tua privacy è importante per noi. Ci sentiamo molto fortunati a vivere in un posto così straordinario e non vediamo l'ora di condividerlo con la tua famiglia.

Great Family Experience

We brought together 4 families from from 4 to 79 of age and found activities in the Asheville area to please them all. The fishing pond was a hit with the children. Overall a fun vacation.

Great place for large family gathering

We had a wonderful time on the property- we were a large group with several adults and kids ages 7-17. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and find their own quiet place when they needed down time. Our family enjoyed sitting outside on the covered patio, playing games in the large backyard, feeding the donkeys, and just enjoying the peace and quiet of the property. We had some issues with the water system turning off but Dan responded to any issues immediately and was able to make repairs without too much inconvenience. It is a beautiful property and a close drive to stores and downtown Asheville,

Why Heavan Must Wait for at Least One Return Visit!

Three generations, including former spouse, three children, one daughter in law and four grands - 6-13 , two boys and two girls . Fishing, horseback, around the fire pit a couple evenings, hiking and games on property. Off site, hiking to a waterfall, tubing the river, golf all generations at the Donald Ross designed Muni , , and a exquisite dinner on Terrace at the Grove Park with fabulous views, food and memories enjoyed by all 10 of us. , salt cave and massage experiences and normal sightseeing and shopping. To borrow from Sir Winston Churchill, " I am very easily pleased with the very best . " Compares favorably to my journey to India as a guest of the Oberoi Group, Asia finest hotel and resort group . I will give up of my memory of view of the Tag from my room in India. for the memory and picture of 13 granddaughter and me as she landed her first big mouth bass from the pond in front of the house ( and it was big ! ) If you tell me how to do it, I will send a picture if her mother permits. To borrow from Churchill , " I am very easily pleased by the very best " See you next year, Dan and with thanks and appreciation, Johnny L .

Great Family Friendly Property

We had a great stay. The property was well equipped for our large family. The kids loved all the outdoor areas to explore. Dan was very accommodating and helpful throughout our stay. Definitely reccomend!

Amazing Stay

We had a party of 11 stay at the Mane House on this beautiful property. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer to make use of all the wonderful amenities. We had great communication with one of the owners and even came to help us on a Saturday night with the tv which was not necessary. This vacation went above our expectation and would recommend to anyone. The only advice is to request Uber’s with plenty of time as the rideshare situation in Asheville is not as plentiful. But this has nothing to do with the house (:

Truly a Great Property

This house is very beautiful, with everything you could possible need for a wonderful stay. Dan was a great host, and very communicative throughout the booking and check-in process. The house itself is located on a large farm, with friendly horses grazing nearby. The house was extremely clean and very spacious - we had 12 adults with plenty of room to spare. We even squeezed in a 12-person yoga class in one of the indoor spaces! The fresh flowers waiting in the kitchen and living room were a nice surprise. I would highly recommend booking this property.

Fantastic getaway house in the mountains

We had an amazing time for our girls getaway weekend. Dan and his family were incredible hosts, letting us meet the dogs and horses, bringing fire to the fireplace, and even buying sleds for our group in the wake of an unexpected snow storm. The house is a quick easy drive to downtown Asheville. It was huge and lovely with warm touches throughout - honestly even better than the pictures. Would definitely recommend and return! Thank you for such an incredible weekend.

Excellent Spot

Gorgeous house with very competent, hands-off owners tucked into the back of a farm. Probably the best kitchen we've had in 10 years of renting cabins. Wonderful couches, so comfortable. Lighting is almost exclusively warm which makes the spot feel cozy but can make playing ping pong tricky. Good table space for the board gamers out there -- easily two game tables and two puzzle. Excellent sassy signage. Overall excellent no meaningful complaints.

Great week!

Perfect house and property for our family of ten ranging from age 65 to 2 years. Everyone had their space. House is beautiful and comfortable. I wish I could have taken the master bath home with me. The steam shower was luxurious. Kids and adults loved their time on the farm. They even asked if they could have a farm in their backyard. The Crouse family were welcoming and very attentive. Nothing we needed or asked was a problem. Thanks for a great week!

Beautiful Main House and Property

We stayed in the main house on the property. Three families with plenty of room to spread out. The house is gorgeous with a lot of little unique details through out. There are two washer and dryers, two dishwashers and an oversized frig. We fished at the pond and caught some pretty big fish. Got to meet the horses, cats, and the donkey. The owner Dan was very friendly and responsive. Everything was perfect and we loved our stay.

Canaan Valley exceptional property

We made our reservations many months in advance and from the first contact with the owner, through the last day of vacation, they were such a pleasure to deal with; very professional, responding sometimes within an hour. There wasn’t anything that they weren’t able to provide for us such as a baby gate to keep our two toddlers from climbing up the stairs. They were very attentive to all the details. If you are coming with family or all adults, the space is conducive to large groups. The horse experience was a great activity for kids and adults alike and love the fact that all members of the owners’ family are involved in entertaining the guests. I will recommend Canaan Valley to friends and family.

Spacious and Clean

Giving this a 4/5 as my expectations for a property at this price was not meet. It was very clean and spacious - but not luxurious. For example the curtains were very thin shears - that provided very poor light blocking - so I had difficulty sleeping. There was no book that gave all the home details - such as wifi password and so on - I had to enquire about this - and the owners did respond which was great. So house is great for larger groups that want a quite spot near a city.

Gorgeous house!

This house is very very nice! If you like horses, there are two right out the back door. You can walk your kids down to the pond right down the driveway and feed the ducks. Talk to the donkey and Shetland pony right across from the pond. Enjoy cooking in the amazing kitchen and above all enjoy time with your family in this amazing house.

A Dream!

Beautiful property and wonderful owners! We had a very small intimate wedding on the property and it was A DREAM. We had our ceremony on the newly finished platform by the pond, and our dinner in the sunroom, our reception in the pavilion, and post reception campfire all at the house. Even though we had a Monday wedding, Dan and Courtney (and Ian!) were incredibly attentive when we needed assistance, and privacy/space when we didn't. They even had their son Canaan drive our guests to and from the house to the platform. Our guests comfortably stayed in the Mane House for several days. I would note that the "hideaway room" with the trundle beds is only accessible through the bedroom with two queen beds, but it was not an issue for my group. From the cleanliness to an abundance of firewood, everything was perfect. My only regret was not finding time to soak in that gorgeous copper tub, but I am excited for the upcoming onsite spa! The perfect location for a wedding or getaway!

Amazing property for large groups or family reunions

This property is amazingly beautiful, extremely clean, super cozy and couldn’t have been better for our group of 13 women. The Mane House had everything we ever wanted or needed including incredible hosts and their children who came to light fires and offered barn tours and horse rides (and we all swooned over the recently rescued alpacas). Publix delivery was very beneficial so we didn’t have to leave. This property is a short Uber ride or drive to the Biltmore, Omni Grove Park Inn or downtown. Our first night in, we used EZCater from Acropolis for dinner and it was perfect. We spent most meals out (because it was many of our first times in Asheville) but the home has everything we needed to cook and enjoy an evening in which I’ll plan for next time. All of us agreed we would stay here again and again for a large get together or family reunion. I could not have picked a more perfect home or hosts.

Nothing short of amazing

The pictures do not do this incredible home justice. Beautifully updated and incredible design and decor. Incredibly spacious with stunning master bath with a steam shower! Felt like a stay at a swanky spa. The homeowners property is also incredible with a beautiful pond with ducks and stables to visit the donkey and horses. We had a large group with kids and there was plenty of room and even a really cool bedroom in the upstairs corner with 3 beds and plush carpet and tons of books. The kids loved having their own “hideaway”. The homeowners are incredibly responsive and gracious. Feels like you are completely secluded but only a 10 minute drive to all Asheville us to offer! Will definitely book again!

Saved our vacation!

After bring evacuated from the OuterBanks, we needed a place to accommodate 11 of us to continue our vacation. From the ocean to the mountains, this was an idyllic place to relax and enjoy ourselves. Our hosts were the nicest people, and the home was gorgeous. The large spa bathroom was amazing! The rain shower was the best I've ever experienced and our host Dan even brought over some eucalyptus oil to try the steam feature. Heaven!

Highly Recommend!

We loved staying at the farm with our family of 8 adults and 6 children ranging in age from 3 months to 8 yrs. It was the perfect spot to relax with fun activities and spaces for everyone. We spent time fishing in the stocked pond or rocking in the swing on nearby. We loved seeing the ducks, geese, chickens, roosters, horses, donkey, and newly rescued alpacas. Dan took us on a great tour of the farm, and Belle kindly shared the horses with the kids and provided horseback rides. The house was beautiful and well-stocked from the kitchen to the game room. The dishwashers were broken during our stay, but Dan fixed them as soon as the part arrived and offered us an ice cream gift certificate for the inconvenience. The farm is close to west Asheville and an easy drive to restaurants, hiking, and attractions. Overall, it's a wonderful spot to stay, and we'd highly recommend it!

One of the best VRBO’s we’ve ever stayed in!

I don’t even know where to begin with my review. We’ve just checked out of Canaan’s Valley Farm and I’m so sad to leave. This experience was like no other. We stayed for a full week for a family trip with 8 adults and 7 kids ages 1-7 years old. When you first arrive to the beautiful property you will be greeted by the ducks, horses, donkey, chickens, etc! The house itself was amazing, even better than the pictures! Each room is uniquely decorated and personalized and all are spacious and stocked with essentials you need for your stay. The beds are all super comfy. With our big group we never felt cramped. The kitchen is open and airy and fully equipped with what you need to cook! We spent almost every evening out on the back patio under the gazebo. The highlights of our stay were enhanced by our interactions with Dan, Belle, and Canaan! What an amazing family! Belle took the kids on a farm excursion where the met and fed the animals, rode Dusty the horse, collected fresh eggs from the coop. Canaan bonded with our family and was wonderful. He loves talking about the chickens, fishing, and life on the farm. He took the boys off roading along the trails on property. Dan was a gracious host and was always helpful if we had questions or needed any thing. The house is also very central and easy access to everything around Asheville. There’s really no complaint about this house or experience. So many great memories, laughs, and good times had by all this week! We will definitely return to Canaan Callry Farm!

Fabulous property for family gathering

I cannot say enough about this property. It is fabulous, clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable, the hosts are amazing, and my family truly loved every moment in Candler.

Great farmhouse!

We stayed here recently for my sisters birthday. The home is very well appointed, spacious and beautiful. Really appreciated all the small touches and the various uplifting quotes through the house. The owners are lovely people who really care about your experience. We will absolutely be back!
