“We really enjoyed the breakfast and the clean rooms.”

“The room was dirty & unkept . The bed sheets in room 5 ( April 9, 2026 ) were NOT replaced prior to our arrival. When my wife & I were about to get in bed for the night we saw that the sheets contained someones grittiness . Who in the hell wants to crawl into that ? My wife was disgusted . It's MY WIFE ! “My husband didn’t like the bed (too hard) but it was ok for me. When he asked if they had mattress toppers he was given a mattress cover! Apparently staff didn’t know the difference! The breakfast is the most basic and there are no tables in the lobby to eat at . There’s no elevator so husband had to carry both our big suitcases up and it took a few trips with both of us to get all our stuff!”

“I stood in the lobby for 15 mins, I called but never heard a phone or anyone pick up.. got to the room, room was super hot! Heat wouldn’t turn off at all. AC hardly worked. ABSOLUTELY NO HOT WATER. (Yes I said something but they didn’t understand I guess). Also, tired saying my check out was yesterday (Friday) so they were knocking on my door at 11:05Am.”

“The Old Library is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The staff is genuinely helpful and nice. The only "complaint" is that the bathroom in the signature suite could use an update. Despite the bathroom being outdated, it was clean and functional so it wasn't a huge issue. We would stay at the Old Library again in the future.”
