Hotel vicino a Canopus Beach - Hopewell Junction

“When I got there @ 45 mins early I used the bathroom in the lobby and it was immaculate. They let me check in early, room was extremely clean as was the bathroom. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The ac worked great.the water pressure was great and hot water stayed hot. Staff was super friendly. The breakfast was good.hot waffles, biscuits and hot gravy, bagels, Danish, coffee, oj cranberry juice. A great value for the price. I'll def return when I'm back in the area.”

“I just experienced a lovely stay at Comfort suites, the room was very comfortable, the bed was like floating on a cloud, the staff were very friendly accommodating, the breakfast buffet was excellent. Highly recommend staying there, also close to Rt 84 easy access”

However, the next day we were out of our room from 10 am to 530 pm and expected the room to have been cleaned. It wasn’t. “The building was under renovation, so it was a bit of a mess, but it needs the renovation…the lobby is cozy and fine, but the hallways are so dark, I felt like I was in a horror movie. The sink in my room wouldn’t drain and there was body hair all over the bathroom floor, like someone manscaped and the staff didn’t sweep or mop the bathroom, which made me wonder what else they didn’t clean? It was only a one night stay, so I didn’t request anything special. I also booked on Expedia and the site...

“The staff was very friendly & overall the property looks nice. However, there were at least 6 bugs in our room, 2 that were in the bed. According to Google, they weren’t bed bugs, ticks, or fleas (dogs were staying in the hotel) - but nonetheless made for an uncomfortable night’s sleep. Additionally, part of the reason why we picked this hotel was the pool & jacuzzi; unfortunately, the pool was freezing cold (like “cold plunge” cold, could barely even stand with just our feet on the top step...

“Good family hotel, with big rooms and kitchen. the breakfast is very basic and the wifi is very good and stable. the gym is also very nice and well equipped. unfortunately the staff is not changing towels and replanishing the water daily, so you have to bring your own from the room. the pool is small but very well maintained and clean. there is no housekeeping. you have to spend your own time cleaning the bathrooms, changing towels, removing garbage.....”

“This could be a nice quiet motel if they cleaned it up,having mouse traps and ant traps in the room along with no garbage can ,sheets for curtains and no drinking cups didn’t sit well. The bed had 2 flat pillows and had to drive out for coffee. The only nice thing was the bed was clean at least.”
