“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home for our son’s wedding weekend. We had our whole family there, ranging from my 97-year-old mother-in-law to our 2-year-old grandson, and it worked beautifully for everyone. “This is a Hotel from the early 20th century. It has wonderful character. It doesn't have AC but does not really need it due to being up in the mountains at about 3500 ft. a room fan and open window was more than adequate. We had small issue with a smoke detector battery getting low and the detector started chirping at 4 in the moring. They don't have over night staff so it was fixed in the morning while we were out and fixed by noon. They do have a weekend breakfast that was very good. ...

“We had high expectations for this resort and spa. The reality is that it is so massively overpriced for what it is. To start, they don’t tell you, but they don’t work well with Expedia. There is no front desk, so you get a message with room number and code. Except that is not your actual room number. When our code didn’t work, we called the number in the listing and they said since we were Expedia, they just wait for us to call to get a room number. Then they gave us the “upgrade” to the top...
