Fall stay near Cheticamp
This is a very well equipped and comfortable cliff side home. The owners go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and informed about things to do while on Cape Breton. We had a great time and really enjoyed the views!

Beautiful property with beautiful surroundings! Home was spotless and well equipped for anyone. Bedding and linens were top notch and close enough to towns, Cape Breton park and trails to do lots of visiting and hiking. Thanks for your fabulous hospitality!

Wonderful views, very clean
Michael’s home was very clean and well stocked and the ocean view was magnificent. It was a bit of driving as we went back and forth to Cheticamp several times but beautiful and peaceful at the home. Michael was an excellent host making sure everything was in order and that we had everything we needed.

Beautiful scenery
House was located on cliff looking out at Bay of St Lawrence. Beautiful views. We had everything we needed - comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Communications with host, Michael, were great.

Every convenience, comfortable, great location
Very modern, well kept home. Nice deck for water views. Home was clean and well stocked with supplies. Owners were very easy to reach and concerned with making the visit the best it could be.

Spectacular sunsets
A very comfortable property to stay at. West facing deck was perfect for sunset time. Nice grill provided for cooking out. Michael gave great restaurant recommendations

Lovely Experience
Our stay was wonderful. The home was lovely with an amazing view. Morning coffee in the kitchen looking at the water was very special. The location is outside of towns to the north and south but a quick drive that allows you to take in the views.

Daughter loved her stay, i was unable to travel due to illness. She loved that the kitchen provided all she needed and Michael was very friendly and provided a great list of places to go Would love to go someday if I recover .

Cliff top stay
The property is well kept and perfect spot to shoot time lapse sun sets. Well stocked and appliances all very nice. Though we did not use the washer and drier it was nice to have. Beds were very comfortable and the view from the deck was phenomenal.

Wonderful Experience
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. I wanted to show off the Cabot Trail to some of my Aussie friends and boy...this place really helped!! Everything we needed was provided and more. The accommodation was immaculately clean and the location was gorgeous. Sitting on the deck watching the sunset was so lovely and watching the lobster fisherman collecting their traps in the morning was icing on the cake!! What a view. The host was easy to communicate with and provided all the information we needed for our stay. We feel very privileged to have stayed here. I could go on and on.....but just go and see it for yourself!! You won't regret it.

Beautiful spot!

Amazing views from every window!
Large, Well equipped kitchen….the home is beautifully decorated … beds sleep well, wonderful location. I wouldn’t hesitant to book this lodging again. We had snow in May and also beautiful sunsets. It’s a great vacation rental.

Wonderful
If I could rate it 10 stars, I would. It was wonderful in every way. Perfect location, super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was better equipped than mine at home! The host was great and concerned about us. Would highly recommend staying here.

Picturesque location and views….
The sunsets are spectacular from any room of the house. It is a really clean and they supply nice quality linens. Location is super close to the Cabot trail and the beautiful town of Inverness. Loved being close to Cheticamp for misc groceries, the liquor store. Michael is really helpful and quick to respond to any questions. Although we did not prepare meals there we did have snacks. Other than the many butter knives there is only one other and it’s a bread knife. Not a deal breaker, we bought one at the store for cheese, lemons and limes.

OUTSTANDING Vacation Home!
Michael is a welcoming, attentive host who cares about his guests. The home itself is superb. Beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, ideally located with breathtaking views. We were genuinely sad to leave and highly recommend this gem.

Communication
Michael did great with communicating with us. He checked in with us half way through to see how everything was going. Let us know best starting points with the Cabot trail. My family would sit and watch the waves come through whether it stormed or sunny days.

Absolutely fabulous!
This VRBO has everything you need, great location near amenities in Cheticamp, very clean, well appointed, spectacular view! You really couldn’t ask for more! You have the perfect view of the Gulf of St. Lawrence on one side for sunset views, and the mountains on the other. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All questions were answered promptly and instructions were clear and easy to follow. Thanks Michael!

Gem on the escarpment
Michael is a great host. All procedures were clearly explained, he was very friendly and easily accessible. We felt that our comfort mattered to him. The ocean view from every room was a definite bonus that allowed us to view the sunset and to gaze at the stars. In addition, Michael's house was spotless and close to various attractions such as Cheticamp, the Cabott trail, hikes in the Highlands National park, Graham Bell historic site and much more.

Fantastic setting, comfortable house
Spectacular setting right on the ocean, with easy access to lovely beaches in Cheticamp and Margaree Harbour. Very comfortable house with all the modern amenities. Very nice restaurants 15 minutes away in Cheticamp and very good grocery there as well. We especially appreciated high-end linens and mattress in master. Great place to stay!

This location was perfect for hiking, fishing and some excellent restaurants. The owner was amazing to deal with and so organized. They had everything ready and made it feel like a home. The place was decorated very well and a lovely fresh smell. Cant beat the view if the sunset!

This property is very clean and a pleasure to stay in. We loved the way the windows in bedrooms, living room and dining room all looked out onto the water. You could watch the lobster fisherman resetting their traps. Not that far from Cheticamp. We also drove around the Cabot trail. Very interesting area.

Exceptional!
The property is beautiful and has every comfort you would ever need. It is tastefully decorated, linens are excellent quality, beds are very comfy, and the property is immaculate! Everything was so fresh and clean! The views are magnificent and location is close to anything you may need including golf, groceries and liquor! Michael was very responsive and excellent to deal with. Absolutely loved the property!

Cabot Trail 2020 Atlantic Bubble Vacation
The place was very comfortable and clean. Location was great for visiting the Cape Breton Highlands National Park, just 20 minutes from Cheticamp entrance. Oceanview and sunsets from rental are spectacular. Michael was very easy to communicate with. Thank you for everything Michael, we will be back.

Great location for touring Cape Breton
Our party consisted of two retired couples, driving around Cape Breton to see the sites. The house is comfortable and well situated for seeing the area. We did not cook at the house, but the cupboards appeared to be well stocked with dishes and basic cooking supplies. The house was very clean and the check in/out process easy.

The property was everything we were looking for and more. All the photos well represented this house! Extremely clean and neat. Kitchen had everything and all appliances large and small seemed brand new. Towels and linens were high quality and the beds were very comfortable . Wunderschön eingerichtetes Haus in toller Lage
Der Blick auf das Meer ist sensationell und man kann ihn aus jedem Zimmer genießen. Die Zimmer sind optimal ausgestattet, alles sehr geschmackvoll. Es fehlt an nichts und auch in der Küche findet man alles, was man braucht.
