Dear Mr Lalmohamed, Whilst we are truly sorry for your alleged loss of personal items during your stay at Nitzana, kindly allow us to shed some light on the same. All our rooms are equipped with electronic door locks at the entrance, and all the other doors are lockable from the inside, which was demonstrated to you at check-in. All rooms are also equipped with a fixed electronic safe. The hotel, in line with guidelines from Ministry of Tourism, as well as its own security apparatus, has 24/7 surveillance via CCTV, plus manual security guarding. We note that the only complaint you have made is about the alleged theft, for which we indeed empathize, however your subsequent demand for the hotel to reimburse your entire stay of 05 nights as compensation against the alleged theft was declined, as this is not in line with handling of such alleged thefts, and could be construed further as admission of guilt on behalf of the hotel. We also take strong objection to your statement alleging that our staff and are hand in glove with the alleged theft, and that we are in any way part of what you suggest to be a premeditated robbery. We completely reject your statement, and the positive experience and feedback of our guests for our staff stand testament to the same. In closing, we hope that you will read our above note with objectivity, and assure you that both Mauritius and Nitzana remain safe and friendly, look always to welcome our guests with genuine hospitality and warmth.
