La vecchia casa in stile ranch di Miami fronte canale offre 2 camere da letto e 2 bagni completi. La camera da letto principale ha un letto king size, un bagno en-suite recentemente ristrutturato, una cabina armadio e porte scorrevoli in vetro che conducono al grande schermo in lanai con vista sul canale, arredato con aree relax e zona pranzo. 2a camera da letto ha un letto matrimoniale, ampio armadio e bagno in comune. Il soggiorno ha un divano letto matrimoniale per ospiti aggiuntivi con grandi porte scorrevoli sul lanai. La casa include anche un dormiente pack-n-play. La cucina Art Déco ha tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno e una griglia a carbone è disponibile anche per i tuoi pasti gourmet. Lavatrice e asciugatrice incluse per l'uso. La casa si trova vicino allo yacht club che offre una piscina condominiale, spiaggia, campi da racchetta, lancio della barca, ristorante e un lungo molo per la pesca. Che è un tiro in auto o in bicicletta. 5 biciclette e 4 sedie a sdraio sono nel garage. Needs some updating

The house was comfortable but needed some updating. We couldn’t find the wi-fi info. I text Lorraine and she said it was posted in the kitchen. It wasn’t. We had to get it off the modem. Also we couldn’t get the tv in the bedroom to work. I called Lorraine and left a message and she never returned my call. We later discovered that the switch on the wall has to be on. The Lanai fan and light didn’t work and the porch light kept going on and off. There was suppose to be beach chairs in. The garage but we only found one broken one. We tried to use the bikes but they all had flat tires. My husband had to fix the kitchen drawer that was hanging open.

Quiet safe relaxing neighborhood

We had a great time staying in Cape Coral. We normally always stay right on ft Myers beach but with little kids and it being New Years I didn’t want the kids down there. This home was perfect a very quiet neighborhood short drive to the grocery and had everything we needed for a last minute trip we planned down. We especially loved the older stove and oven (I’m not kidding I’m all about antique and they worked amazing was so cool) it made the home feel more laid back. Property own responded back when we had a question and was helpful and very nice. We even got to see a dolphin in the canal! Only things I would recommend is maybe a tv in the bedroom set for kids just something they can relax with at night and not pile up in the living room. Also consider a new vacuum with having kids I kept them in the sunroom to eat cause I was afraid they would spill on the carpet but even using the vacuum to sweep up in the living room at night (I like to clean it after them) small feet track or anything it didn’t work very well. Other than that nothing major and I would definitely recommend families to stay here and would again myself. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Perfect location for our needs

We needed something in Cape Coral near our friends place on Britannia lake. We also wanted to be able to hit fort Myers beach. As long as you leave by 9am, we had no issue getting to FMB. not sure I'd leave much later. House was very comfortable to sleep, eat a few meals in, and return to each evening. Lorraine was super responsive, but there were no issues to speak of. Plenty of cookware and master shower was awesome.

Very enjoyable

Great location I Cape Coral and plenty of room and so comfortable. Nice quiet getaway...the screen porch was terrific. Lorraine was on top of every communication and very helpful and attentive.

Very well stocked home very nice area

Our family has a lot of experience renting homes over the years. This home had everything to make settling in very easy. The kitchen had a very charming vintage appeal, totally cool. The fact that there was everything from soap , to all paper products was awesome. We replaced what we used but it felt nice to not be high and dry on arrival. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Cape Coral accommodation

Nice location on a canal in a residential area. Large Lanai. House needs a good cleaning. Canopy over the second bed should be removed/cleaned. Grass skirt around bed is falling apart and is all over the floor. Not a good environment for anyone with asthma /allergies.

Not quite as described....

We were happy with the location, but we were made aware very late (2 days before our arrival) that there was construction on the grounds (sea wall repair). The back yard was dug up, trees down, and construction materials everywhere (sawhorses, concrete forms, wood cut-offs, etc), including a flatbed in front of the property with more construction materials strewn at that location. Many light fixtures were without lamps, the bedroom light switch didn't appear to do anything, and the overhead kitchen light switch didn't work consistently without fiddling with it. I spoke with the property owner about the deception I felt regarding the grounds, and she apologized, but the discussion went no further. She assures me that it's back to normal, with new sod, removed down trees, and cleaned-up construction materials, but I have no way of knowing. The owner let us know 2 days before our arrival of the situation, and offered to give us our money back, but at that late date, in Ft Myers area, we were unlikely to find anything in the same price range for the length of our stay. It was an unfortunate situation, as I think with a few fixes and the grounds being as described on the VRBO website, we would likely have been happy, even given the aforementioned items in disrepair. What could have been a very nice trip left me feeling deceived. The owner did give us one free night, but that seemed a drop in the bucket in terms of the deception we felt regarding the property condition. The owner was very accessible and at least willing to entertain a conversation, even if it didn't really go anywhere from our perspective. It's just unfortunate for all - just another case of VRBO property owner's deception regarding their properties - overselling and underperforming - it's not the first time for us. Not sure we'll do VRBO again.

Yacht club

The property is a bit tired, with exposed outlets and lights that don’t work. It’s hard to get anywhere without a car. It’s a good size for a family, the master bath is nice, and it has a nice screened in porch. The owner is responsive to texts.
