Excellent location!
The Kage House is a beautifully appointed property right at the top of the old downtown. The property has more than you need because of the thoughtful owners. Everything downtown is easily walkable. Sitting on the deck watching the river traffic is a highlight!

Anniversary weekend
We loved the Kage House! It was one of the best highlights of our weekend getaway. Just a perfect place to stay--within walking distance of great restaurants and cool shops. We loved it. We would definitely stay there again. Wonderful hosts!!

Awesome!!!
This property is amazing! Close to everything and so clean! The weather was cold for mid March so I’m looking forward to our next trip when we can utilize the awesome deck looking at the Mississippi River! We highly recommend!!!

Kage House
Excellent stay at the Kage house. I was traveling alone travel RN and new to the area. I felt safe and had everything I needed. Keith was very helpful and made sure my stay was stress free! There was a snow storm the day I was checking out to drive back home. Keith arranged for me to have a late check out so I could get a nap (night shift nurse) and the roads were in good condition. 10/10 would recommend.

Loved The Kage House! Great property and location! Will definitely be back!
The Kage House is a very comfortable and well maintained property located steps away from great restaurants, upscale bars and shopping in the historical downtown area of Cape Girardeau. My daughter and I stayed there and were very comfortable and pleased with the location, property and area. Keith was great to work with in setting up our stay there, as well. We will most definitely be back!!

Lovely place on the Mississippi
We had a perfect stay here. The owners have made this property comfortable, pleasing and fun. The bed is comfy and the bedding is fluffy and white like a hotel. Fluff white towels in the bathroom and toiletries for guest use. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. They have spices, a junk drawer for incidentals and lots of coffee. The deck is awesome and the sun coming up over the Mississippi is special! This is a 10. I would stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful views of the river & so close to things to do. Loved going to the farmers market & so many other things to see & do there. Another Great Stay
OMG you did it again. Another great stay at the Kage House. It's an amazing place. Right downtown and with the river right there. Love to sit on the deck and watch the people and the boats come and go. Very comfortable place to stay. Good Job!

We really enjoyed the views, privacy,convenience,comfort, and location. Kitchen was well equipped. The Kage House is a very nice and unique property. We would definitely stay there again! One small bathroom was the only disappointment, the shower was very nice!

Quick Weekend Visit
We visited Cape Girardeau for a volleyball tournament at the Sports plex. This is a great location, convenient to everything and better than staying in a hotel. We will definitely be back!

Great stay in every way
I have stayed at this property before, and it's always great. The location is great (near downtown and the Mississippi River), and the house is always clean and tidy. The snacks for guests (soft drinks, water, candy) are a great touch as well and much appreciated. The check-in process was smooth and it was just as easy checking out. Definitely recommend booking this house to anyone visiting Cape and looking for somewhere that isn't right off I-55.

Excellent stay in Cape Girardeau!
Our trip over NYE weekend was absolutely amazing. The property was so close and convenient to everything, can't beat walking distance! The check in process was super easy, and the owner's were great to communicate with. Everything was super clean and cozy, with wonderful amenities that really made you feel like part of the family. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and look forward to a return trip!

We have stayed in several VRBO's but Kage House is the best one yet. We live 65 miles from Cape but wanted a few days away without a long drive and Kage House was perfect. It is nicely decorated and exceptionally clean. Location cannot be beat. It is by far the best stocked vrbo we have been in. Keith is an excellent host by the mere fact that we didn't have to contact him with any issues. He has made check in and out so simple. If you're coming to the Cape area this is the place to stay. We will be back for sure!

Fantastic Place to Explore Old Town Cape
We loved this property! So many great restaurants within an easy walking distance. We did a lot of shopping within 5 blocks as well. Easy drive to Trail of Tears State Park to do some hiking. We will definitely be back.

Awesome stay
We look forward to a return stay. 120 Broadway was the best we have ever had for a 2 night stay. Everything we could had needed was there and more. We travel often and this stay tops them all. The only observation we feel you should know is the railing and porch sholud have the spider webs removed.

Romantic getaway
Our weekend there was for a relaxing and romantic time and a much needed getaway from our kids. The property was clean and roomy, and private yet still close to everything you’d need. We could not have found better accommodations for our weekend than this gem in the heart of downtown Cape Girardeau. The view is spectacular! The bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We hope to return in warmer months to enjoy the outdoor amenities.

We met our adult son from Dallas over Thanksgiving Weekend. The Vrbo was beautifully decorated, VERY clean with all that we needed. I loved looking out the window at the Mississippi River! We couldn't have been happier with our choice! Would definitely stay there again!!

Our Stay At Kage House, Cape Girardeau
Our stay at Kage House was beyond expectation and gave us the rest we needed over Labor Day weekend. One bedroom, very comfortable king bed with view of the Mississippi River; very nice kitchen and living room. Everything very clean. The outside spacious porch has a magnificent view looking across and down the river. The house has great character and a long history. Would definitely come back.

Best place to stay in Cape
This is our 3rd or 4th stay at this property. It's a gorgeous place overlooking the Mississippi river. The apartment is fully furnished with 2 large TVs, a newly updated bathroom and an open concept kitchen, dining and living room area. The best spot in town on a nice day is the large deck. In addition the owner, Keith, is very friendly and accomodating. I would recommend this place all day long!

Great location and Unit
We really enjoyed the convenience and cleanliness of the unit. Also appreciated that basic necessities like coffee, laundry detergent, and a hair dryer, we’re available to the guests. The finishes and design is really well done, so it feels like a cozy home to stay in. My favorite part was the balcony out back where we could enjoy views of downtown, as well as views of the boats traveling along the river. The bed and couch were very comfortable and made for a very relaxing time. The location is so close to such a great variety of shops and restaurants! Best of that was the one across the street , Minglewood Brewery, they offered their craft beer-to-go, which we enjoyed on the awesome patio! Overall great place to stay, and look forward to future trips at this unit.
