'Seabreeze su Sunset' ... Sunset; Faro e Ocean View

Ciao ... .Il mio nome è Scheryl Glanton e la mia casa principale è a Philadelphia. La mia casa preferita però è la famiglia casa sulla spiaggia, "SeaBreeze sul Sunset". Ci sono voluti diversi anni per assegnare un nome alla casa. Dopo feedback da famiglia e gli ospiti, abbiamo deciso di "SeaBreeze", perché, in ogni stagione, ci sentiamo la brezza del mare. Seabreeze si affaccia sul mare e il naturale santuario degli uccelli con stupende vedute di entrambi. La vista dell'oceano è dal terzo piano e la vista del faro è dalla sala da pranzo al secondo piano. La vera sorpresa è però il tramonto ... Seabreeze è sul Sunset Blvd e questa strada porta a Sunset Beach, dove si dice che il tramonto è uno dei tramonti più belli del mondo. Prima del tramonto, le persone provengono da tutta l'isola per vedere il tramonto a Sunset Beach. Noi in realtà non ci muoviamo, ci sediamo sui ponti, guardando il tramonto e contemplando la vita.

SeaBreeze dispone di quattro camere da letto, due master suite, il principale al terzo piano e un secondo al primo piano. Ci sono altre due camere da letto al secondo piano. SeaBreeze ha due aree comuni, soggiorno, sala da pranzo e cucina al secondo piano; una camera familiare e sala polvere al primo piano. Ci sono due grandi ponti e un grande portico. Altri servizi sono: due televisori a schermo piatto; Wifi; Tavolo da ping-pong in garage; due griglie (gas e carbone) e un bellissimo giardino.

Cape May ha cinque aree di spiaggia: Cape May (richiede tag); Cape May Pointe (richiede tag spiaggia); Cape May Pointe State Park (gratuito); Sunset Beach (gratuito) e Higbee Beach (gratuito). Tutti sono a pochi minuti dalla SeaBreeze. Cape May Beach è in città e meno di un miglio di distanza a piedi da SeaBreeze. Sunset Beach è sulla punta dell'isola e visitatori vengono a guardare il tramonto. Seabreeze si affaccia Cape May Point State Park, la sua spiaggia e santuario degli uccelli. The Cape May Pointe State Park (oltre 11.000 ettari) è la sede del Cape May National Wildlife Refuge. Si compone di spiaggia, dune, zone umide d'acqua dolce e laghetti e sentieri forestali. Higbee Beach è un uno e mezzo miglio tratto sulla punta dell'isola. Essa trae appassionati di bird watching, a caccia di diamanti Cape May, prendendo cani per una corsa, la pesca e la caccia. Godetevi la primavera, estate o autunno sole su alcune delle più belle spiagge di sabbia bianca. Downtown Cape May vanta alcuni dei migliori esercizi di ristorazione, nel New Jersey. Ci sono anche affascinanti negozi specializzati per sfogliare. E non dimentichiamo di affittare una Surrey o golf cart e prendere la famiglia a fare un giro in città per vedere alcune delle belle case vittoriane in città e lungo l'oceano. Cape May è un resort per tutte le stagioni.

It was a really nice , but it does need a lot of work, and if you look little deeper it was really dirty underneath. The refrigerator was small and no comfy furniture in main room on the 2nd floor and no tv there. But it did fit 8 of us comfortably

Had a great time staying at Seabreeze!!

We had a group of 8 adults 1 toddler stay at Seabreeeze and had a great time. The property was in a great location on Sunset blvd with centralized access to the Washington StreetMall, sunset beach, and the main broadway beach access. The game closet was impressive and the toddler with us got great rest at nap time in the 3rd floor master. Will definitely recommend!!

Excellent home

We had four generations of family staying at this home - my 92 year-old mother, my sister, my daughter, her husband and her son and myself and my husband - and the home worked beautifully for all. The home is very well appointed and clean. The location is fantastic. Overall, we had a memorable vacation with lovely memories.

Lovely house - July 2024

This house was perfect - close enough to town and beach that we could bike or walk. WE especially liked being able to bike to Sunset Beach in the evening. The house was so well designed that we all felt together for meals and games and had time on different levels so that those who woke or early or stayed up late had no worry about interrupting the sleep of others. The house has very pretty decor and lovely paintings throughout. The host provided helpful hints for enjoying the week even more. We are very appreciative of being able to stay in this lovely house.

Disappointing considering reviews

With reviews giving this an “exceptional” rating, we were disappointed. We’re aware the shore is hard on properties, but the combination of maintenance/safety/cleanliness issues made for a very uncomfortable week (rotted wood on stairs & door/window frames, tape repairs on tiles & screens, inoperable sliders, exposed electrical outlets, worn, fraying, and multilayered carpet even on stairs, slick tile floors, sticky wood surfaces everywhere, grime on walls, trim, kitchen cabinets, a swarm of ants around the inside master slider). Perhaps opting to run the A/C, as the owner advised, over enjoying the plentiful seabreeze would have decreased the stickiness of the surfaces but it created new and more extreme discomforts as the 1st floor became unbearably cold while the 3rd floor remained uncomfortably warm. We opted for the fresh seabreeze, given that the temperature was in the seventies. We’re accustomed to rustic but proper outdoor showers at the shore, with plumbed hot water lines and walls. This was a hose connected to a shower head surrounded by a curtain. It’s really a rinse off station. The owner was very reasonable and addressed what she could on the spot but many of the concerns were not things that could not be fixed while the property was occupied. On the plus side, the home was spacious and accommodated our large group for sleeping. Hanging together was a little more difficult as seating in the common area was limited.

Great rental in W. Cape May

Scheryl's rental is very large and has great amenities. The location is convenient to town or beaches, especially via bike. The driveway is also very large and can accommodate at least 4 cars.

Comfortable home away from home

This large beach house made staying at the shore with 6 adults and 1 toddler very comfortable. We all enjoyed relaxing in the main living room which had beautiful views, lots of natural light, and a relaxing atmosphere. We had no issues with the home or contacting the host. We were happily surprised to see extra chairs and boogie boards, an outdoor shower to rinse off sand, and a gas grill all ready to go for us. We had a great time!

Another Wonderful Summer

My family and I make this trip every year and each summer it sets us up for such a beautiful week. The house is in great condition, very clean, and the location is wonderful in relation to the beach, downtown, boardwalk, and other day trips. Scheryl is a fantastic host and I look forward to coming back next year.

Great time in Cape May

We had a fantastic week at the beach and loved our home away from home at Cape May. The home is clean, tidy, and met all our needs. The patio off the kitchen is perfect for sipping coffee or hanging out after dinner. We would love to return to Cape May.

Family Vacation for Family of Four plus In-laws

A great time at a great property. Great layout for family time both inside and outside on deck. Great location given proximity to town where there are fantastic restaurants, shopping, ice cream places, mini golf and more. Highly recommend this property and this owner who was wonderful to work with, very responsible and accommodating.

Family Vacation to West Cape May & Cape May Point Beach

Our Family has Vacationed a total of four summers; with each experience out performing the last. The Owner Scheryl along with Robert were very attentive with excellent hospitality. It's usually very difficult to accommodate large groups of people for sleeping & dining but our 10 family members had no problems & everyone enjoyed their vacation. Bill, Mary & Family

The home was well furnished, so many houses are nice but the owners seems afraid to provide comfortable or plentiful furnishings. Not the case here! In fact I feel the home offered more than was described. In the way of kitchenwares, sleeping arrangements, beach chairs, games, throws ect. It was well stocked with everything you needed. Kudos to you. If there is any suggestions I could make, I would offer baby gates. The baskets EVERYWHERE were beautiful and the rugs I LOVED! Unfortunately they shed SO bad, we were all constantly covered in fibers so bring lint brushes. BUT that didn’t not take away for the pleasant home. The frig wasn’t real clean by the last guests. And there were always such beautiful breezes we preferred opening doors and windows which were really dusty and could have used attention. But again these were so minor nothing took away from the lovely home and wonderful stay. Thank you hope to be back next year!

Large, lovely house near town

We stayed at the house for a week in October and had a great time. The house is large and clean with a large driveway for easy parking. The host was very nice and helpful. For example, the battery had worn out on the igniter for the outdoor grill, and she immediately put in place a plan to have someone stop by to install a new one. We appreciated that and could tell she was always going to be available if anything came up. We loved the location since we were in town for birding, and the house is very close to The Meadows (one of the very best birding spots in town) and the Hawk Watch at the lighthouse. It’s not walkable to town so people who want to stay right in the heart of Cape May might want to think about the location, but again it worked well for us. The neighbors on all sides were silent all week. There is a bit of street noise for those who are sensitive to that kind of thing, but it didn’t bother us. In fact we ate outside on the deck most evenings. The cost seemed reasonable to us. It can be a bit pricey for a couple, but there is a lot of space and bedrooms, so for a slightly larger group it seems like a cost-effective way to stay in Cape May. Overall we would strongly recommend the house, and again appreciated the host’s availability for any issues or communication needs. We hope to return on a future trip to Cape May.
