“This place is great! Breakfast was always delicious and the owners are extremely involved and very helpful. I got a ton of amazing recommendations from Chris of activities to do around the area, almost all walking distance!”

“I can’t say enough good things about this place. The location is perfect for a walk into town and quick drive to the beach. The Boarding House is upscale but not stuffy with a retro-beach vibe. Communication was excellent, and the check-in process was a breeze. Staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the rooftop deck and had cocktail there on our last night. My only criticism is that the parking is a little tight. Overall. Wonderful!”

“I loved everything about the hotel. The one thing I would recommend if you really want privacy and quiet make sure that you don’t get a room right over the rooftop restaurant. The music is playing. It doesn’t stop until 10 o’clock at night and if you’re sitting on your deck, you’re looking straight down on people or they could look right up at you the rest I have no complaints.”

“Very clean room and the pool was very nice and heated! Would have liked a few more umbrellas around the pool but otherwise it was very nice. Loved that we didn’t have to carry our chairs to the beach. Lounge chairs and umbrellas were provided. Overall a very nice stay!”

“Clean room but needs updating. AC was noisy and inefficient. Balcony overlooking the beach isn’t private so that was disappointing. No coffee shops nearby. Restaurant onsite provided a $5 cup of coffee that was terrible and wasn’t available until after 8am. Grounds are beautiful, pool is clean and heated. Staff are excellent!”

“This place is a crack house- showed up no parking at all. Front desk didn’t want to help- young teens everywhere smoking weed in the halls. Dirty room my car is bigger than the room. Bathroom toilet was so gross. Tv didn’t work. Ac was barley working- you can hear everything thru the walls- felt like the projects”

“I stayed one night with my children for a basketball tournament. The check in process was not bad. I have a pet peeve that when I hand you something in your hand, I expect you to hand the item back to me in my hand and the person checking me in placed my items on the desk. That is so rude. Other than that the staff were ok. The tv in the room did not work throughout my stay. They sent someone to fix it but it never got fixed. I guess they expect people to spend most of the time on the boardwalk...

“When checking in, I say and waited for 25 minutes for someone to come down w my 6 kids! was really upset with the room at first bc of the fact I had my big family there And we were expecting a small stove top to use to eat, there wasn’t one in our room. Then the seagulls were literally living in the pool A family from the 6th floor threw actual spoons of tuna into the pool and hot tub while my kids were down there including my autistic 6 year old! “Location was grear”

“Outside dirty. No room service maintaining my room. There vending machines took my money. Staff Outside my door yelling and screaming at 8 am every morning. Never ever again.”

“rooms were a little on the small size but if you’re only sleeping there it’s not that big of a deal however, the pool was absolutely DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY. there was bird (seagull) poop in the pool lots of it and the pool was so cloudy you could barely see the bottom. would definitely look for somewhere else to stay other than this place.”
