“Lovely bog home but very unkept and dirty. Outside, lawns weren't mowed, definitely needed to water blast as slime build up, made surfaces slipery, outdoor furniture covers were ripped also. Inside, mold in the milk throffer, inside the kichen bins, most window cills were covered in cob webs, spiders, flys and very dirty. Wall paper lifting. Dark hair found in beds that weren't slept in. Loved the place but definitely needs work and a proper clean and upkeep.”

“This might be the prettiest place I ever stayed at. The scenery is spectacular. The hotel is just perfect. It's a beautiful country-house with exceptional food and the service is great. A++. I strongly recommend this. We did the horse and ATV tour and it's a must do. Fly into Wellington and rent a car to see the beautiful scenery on the 2 hr drive. I would love to return.”

“Lovely house with plenty of cutlery and plates. It was warm when we arrived. Beds very comfortable. But took a good 20 min to get in due to stuck key. Wifi has diff codes on two separate books. Spa is a plastic. Pool, not expecting it to be avail in winter maybe say that though. But a 4 pm entry and the cost and having to take linen and the stuck key just put some shade on what was otherwise a great property.”

“Arrived just on dark, in the rain. No access to cabin for vehicle, so had to walk up steps on an unlit path, in the rain and the dark to get there. No outside undercover area like a porch to put wet footwear, so had to track the water inside. The room was still dirty from the last occupant, dirty sheets and towels with no clean bedding anywhere to be found. Luckily I had some of my own bedding in my vehicle - which I then had to go back out in the driving rain and dark to retrieve. Would never...
