“The hotel is close to the metro, and we were allowed to check in at 8:00 AM instead of 2:00 PM, which was helpful after a long flight from Brussels, Belgium, to Beijing, China, allowing us to sleep after a six-hour jet lag. “The best thing about the hotel for me was the location. I had business at Tsinghua University, so it was very convenient to walk just a few hundred meters from the hotel to the campus. The service has improved in many ways compared to previous reviews. Many of the front desk staff were able to communicate in English, and those who could not speak English well tried to communicate using a translation app on their smartphones. “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in Beijing for a 10 days family vacation. I took a chance and booked us a location that was off the touristy spot where all the big hotels were - so glad I did - VUE is a hidden gem. We took to walking around the Hutong neighborhoods right away, my father loved his morning walks in Houhai Park which was right behind the hotel.
