"Old style hotel, moquette everywhere, but exactly as advertised. Confortable bed, good bathroom and very comfortable bathrobe. We had a balcony with nice view on the top of the valley. The same balcony was accessible from main corridor. Also, the same balcony was not totally separated by that of the other rooms. The location is perfect: in Mandarfen 3 minutes walking distance by Rifflesee cable car. Summer card was included in our stay, it is very important as it includes access to cable cars (otherwise super expensive) and buses. Most hikes can start from the hotel itselt and if needed the bus stops nearby. Good breakfast, we had scamble eggs and bacon, plus cheese and cured meats, sweet pasties, fruits. International, nothing special, but nothing to complain about. It is very quiet, except in the morning. At 7 am you will be waken up by the nearby chapel - it keeps ringing for 1 minute. But we woke up earlier because of noises from the neighbors. The desk staff speaks reasonable English, and didn't appear bothered by speaking it! Summarizing: pros: location, summer card, quiet evening, breakfast cons: Poor soundproofding + chapel ringing at 7 am, balcony not independent."

"La camera era spaziosa, silenziosa e pulita, mancava soltanto il frigorifero, che in teoria doveva esserci. C'era una terrazza in comune con la camera attigua. La pulizia non è giornaliera ma solo su richiesta. Il personale gentile, cordiale e disponibile ma parla solo il tedesco. La colazione buona ed abbondante e comprensiva di cibo sia dolce che salato. Il paese, tranquillo e silenzioso, comprende molti ristoranti e locali e noleggi di biciclette. Dal paese partono numerosi percorsi da trekking e da biciclette. Il paese dista 5 km circa dal confine con l'Italia e la vicina Resia e Curon. L'hotel è munito di garage coperto per auto e moto a pochi passi dalla struttura."

"Good location just off the main road and about an hour and a half's drive from the Stelvio Pass. The staff were very helpful. The food was good. It would have been helpful to have at least one USB charging point in the bedroom. For foreign travellers ensure you have adaptor plugs with you."
