“We loved the every night's get-together at the Horse Bar with live music and drinks. Very cosy with a fire place. I did a 2-hours trail ride which was fun. The horses were in excellent condition. I did not like that they kept the saddle on the horse back the entire day while waiting for riders. Other than that everything was a wonderful experience.”

“Sehr schön gelegen, Panoramaaussicht, sehr liebe Familie, man bekommt einen sehr guten Einblick in das Dorfleben. Preis sehr günstig, man muss zwar jedes Mal drei Dollar fürs Taxi bezahlen, um dort weg zu kommen, aber trotzdem noch günstiger als sonstwo. Man kann mit der Familie essen (gut und günstig) und auch auf dem Hof mithelfen. In der Unterkunft selbst hängen Informationen zu Touren aus, die leider gar nicht von der Unterkunft im Internet beworben werden. Hätten wir von den Touren gewusst,...

“A wonderful indigenous host farm family makes you feel welcome in their home. Guests have their own separate quarters and bath. The farm is small but busy and productive, with cows, food crops, pigs, chickens, guinea pigs, dogs, cats, fruit trees and veggies. The views from above Cotacachi are phenomenal. Volcan Imbabura is on one side of the farm and Volcan Cotacachi on the other.”

“We had a beautiful time at Cananvalle. The staff are very attentive and friendly. It is a place quite a bit outside Ibarra and without transport you have to rely on taxis to get around. Saying that the local taxis are cheap and safe. ”
