“We stayed for 3 nights to explore Skipton and the Dales. The hotel is situated a distance from Skipton centre. It is a pleasant half hour walk along the canal towpath into town or a 5 min drive.
The hotel is large, with carpark and with various room styles. It fronts onto a busy road so best to ask for a back facing room with a window view. Our room was on the 5th floor up in the eaves, with a velux window, no view, and was very tired and outdated especially the 90s style, grey bathroom....

They both really enjoyed stay and could not say enough about quality of staffing and overall experience!”

“The staff were great! The rooms were very good as well. The pool was relaxing. It was a nice, calm, comfortable stay with great views. The Dog & Gun pub has tasty meals for both dinner and breakfast. The sticky toffee pudding was fantastic.”

“Good amenities and grounds. Hotel is really showing its age, especially the rooms. Mine was very dark with a tiny bathroom. Lots of little imperfections and stains on the carpet. Definitely not worth the money I paid, £115 + for the night, solo traveller.”
