Kiwi's Cottage, which just underwent a top to toe remodel, is within easy walking distance to Carmel's restaurants, boutiques, galleries and stunning beaches. The beautifully renovated interiors combine modern conveniences with upscale comfortable furnishings. Use this 1300 sf home as your base camp as you explore up and down the coast from Big Sur up to Santa Cruz and the San Francisco Bay area.

Enjoy your morning coffee before taking a stroll into the village of Carmel. Stop by one of several bakeries and pick up fresh goods for breakfast. Relax with a good book by the fire, or cook a great meal for family and friends in the new gourmet kitchen.
Radiant floor and ceiling heating keeps the house evenly warm and pleasant and the gas fireplace really heats things up quickly after a day out at the beach.

Living Space
Enter through the Dutch door into the warm and inviting living room with stone-surround gas fireplace, hardwood floors and French doors leading out to the center courtyard. The convenient layout has the interior and back deck all on one level in this single-story home. Well-equipped for extended stays!

Kitchen and Dining
Relax with friends in the cozy dining room which seats six and watch the chef at work in the open kitchen which has undergone a complete remodel with Counter seating on stools at the large kitchen peninsula provides casual seating. The cottage is fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy your visit. There is a laundry room with a full size washer and dryer plus a pantry.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
The fully-equipped 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation home sleeps up to 4 guests.
Bedroom #1 has a California King Bed with European style duvet and super comfortable bedding. French Doors open to the center courtyard. The en suite primary bathroom has two vanities, an over-sized shower with glass walls, a bidet and heated floors.
Bedroom #2 has a Queen Bed with luxury bedding including European style duvets and covers. The secondary bathroom has a large glass enclosed shower and heated floors.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval on a case-by-case basis, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

The garden is fenced and private with an interior courtyard that offers a cozy seating area around the fire pit and an outdoor table for four.

The one car garage fits one small vehicle and there is one off-street parking space in the driveway. Sometimes street parking near the home is also available.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. Extended stays are often possible.
