Sanctuary Vacation Rentals is proud to present "La Sieste"! This home sleeps up to 6 guests.

Enjoy expansive views of nearby coastal mountains and Palo Corona Regional Park from this elevated Carmel location. Guests will love the beautifully landscaped back yard with a deck and charming gazebo. Truly a restful home, La Sieste (loosely translated 'nap' from French) is a place where you can come to rest and regenerate.

This quiet neighborhood is conveniently located near the Mission Trail Park and the Carmel Mission Basilica Museum as well as the Barnyard and Crossroads Shopping Centers and Carmel River Beach.

This is a perfect location from which to enjoy all that the local area has to offer, from day trips down the Big Sur Coastline and winery tours of Carmel Valley to golfing and scenic drives through Pebble Beach® and shopping and dining options of nearby coastal towns of Monterey and Pacific Grove. The home is situated near downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea which is full of galleries and boutique shops, not to mention miles of beaches.

Living Spaces
The comfortable, elegant living area has a gas fireplace controlled by a remote control and a TV with Comcast cable.
The 1,903 sf home is mostly one level inside but there are a few steps down from the entry into other rooms and 3 steps down into the back yard. The immaculate kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals at home.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Bedroom #1 is the primary suite and it has a king bed, TV and an en suite bathroom with a shower-over-tub combination.
Bedroom #2 has a queen bed.
Bedroom #3 has a queen bed.
The shared hall bath has a shower-over-tub combination.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

The garage can be used for parking one vehicle and it is home to the washer and dryer.
Parking for three vehicles is available in the driveway.

This home is a monthly rental and we request that all nights of your stay are within the same calendar month. Some exceptions may be possible, with the approval of our team and the homeowner. This home is available from May 1 - October 31 each year; 6 month stays may qualify for a special rate.

Review of La Sieste

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our month at La Sieste. The home is located in a quiet but very convenient area of Carmel and the mountain views are amazing, with gorgeous gardens. The spaces are perfect, plenty of room for 6 people. The updates made to the home are nice, though stopped short of a full renovation. We loved the fireplace, the sofas and large TV, the French doors and windows all along the back of the house. The kitchen was well stocked and appliances were good. Having access to the garage and the new washer/dryer was great. The things that we did not love were the somewhat flimsy mattresses that were quite soft in all bedrooms (same w/pillows), and the outdoor furniture isn't comfortable enough for longer sittings, unfortunately. King beds would fit in both of the secondary bedrooms, and that would have been preferred over the queens. Mirrors in both the secondary bedrooms would have been nice as well. Also, some non-breakable drinkware in the kitchen would be a good addition and could replace some of the excess wine glasses. Wall mounted hand towel holders in both bathrooms would be nice in order to keep those off the countertops. A couple of beach chairs would also have been useful. We were very happy with Sanctuary Vacation Rentals.
