The Sunset Getaway - Hot Tub, Dog Friendly

  • The Sunset Getaway vacation rental is a 3 bedroom/2 bath chalet that features a very open floor plan with the kitchen, living room and dining room open to one another and great southern exposure sun. The cabin has been nicely remodeled with an updated kitchen and tasteful furniture appointments. In the summer, guests can enjoy the expansive front deck area and the property is within walking distance to Waterman's Landing Cafe & Beach (dog friendly) and Carnelian Bay. In the winter, the cabin is centrally located to Northstar California, Alpine Meadows, and Palisades Tahoe.

    All vacation rental properties are fully equipped with free high speed wireless internet, linens, bath towels (equal to the maximum occupancy of the house), pots/pans, dishes, microwave, coffee pot, blender, toaster, TV/TV's with streaming services, washer & dryer and barbecue (many are only usable in the summer). The house will also provide a starter set of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels.

Questo chalet si trova a Carnelian Bay e vanta una posizione strategica in campagna e a bordo lago. Northstar California Resort e Palisades Tahoe sono due tappe fondamentali per chi ama le attività. A livello naturalistico, invece, tra le principali attrazioni della zona ci sono Lake Tahoe-Nevada State Park (parco nazionale) e Porto di Sand. Family Vacay 2025

This cabin was in the perfect location. A short drive from kings beach and local shops. It felt like home, fully stocked with everything you need. The beds were comfy and the jacuzzi was a nice treat after a long day of exploring. We will definitely come back.

Perfect Tahoe Getaway

The Sunset Getaway gets everything right! The cabin is very cozy and the furniture and beds are so comfortable. The communication was excellent and check-in was a breeze. We walked in to a lovely fire going in the fireplace and everything was immaculate. The kitchen is well stocked. We loved the television set up...just hook up your computer and you are good to go. This is perhaps the best run property that I have ever stayed. We loved our time here.

Great property!

We had a 3 night stay and it was such an easy check in process! Cabin was clean, had everything you’d need for the kitchen, and even toys around for my daughter to play with. Also, had really good communication with them. They even went out of their way to send a wedding binder back to us that we left behind. Super grateful. We really had a great experience and will definitely be back!

I would have given this an excellent review, but there were a few things that kept us from five stars across the board.The first was, when we arrived, a man saying he worked for the same property management company was gonna cut down trees behind our cabin and be there for a few hours. After talking with him, he decided he would come back after we checked out in a couple days, but feel that should’ve come from the rental company and had that scheduled at a different time instead of putting us in that weird position. A couple other issues were that several cabins right next-door to us were doing construction from morning until the evening, and we were not made aware ahead of time. Kind of frustrating when you’re trying to relax. The cabin was not stocked with any washcloths for showers, or cleaning. It took a day to get them to us because the management company does not answer any messages after 5 PM. Cabinet is great. Great location. Loved the size, the deck in the hot tub. Overall, very good, a couple issues if they did not exist, would’ve made it a much better vacation spot for a couple days for my family and I unwind before school started.
