Cape Fear at Island Breeze of CB

Named for the Cape Fear River, this bungalow offers everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The nautical theme starts as you enter the front door. This suite includes a bedroom with a king bed, a flat screen HD Smart TV, and a full-sized bathroom. There's also a separate kitchenette with a retro-modern refrigerator/freezer, microwave and a coffee maker. The dining table for two doubles as a laptop workspace. Enjoy free high speed wireless WIFI. Secluded, yet so close to everything. Located near the heart of Carolina Beach. 8 minute walk to the closest beach access. Stores, restaurants, and other amenities located close by. Walk, drive your car, or rent one of our golf carts

Room was nice and it was in a great quiet area but still closw to beach access and some great restaurants with wonderful welcoming people.Unfortunately we fould mold on our pullout coach, we wiped it down with lysol wipes, but mattress should be replaced. We also werent sure what kinda of coffee maker was in the room or grill type so had to go out and get some things unexpectedly. Glad i bought plasticwarr also as we had 1 fork and buttrr knife and 2 spoons in our room booked for 3. Another recommendation would be to invest in bettrr and longer shower curtains, as water run down curtain there now and floor gets wet bc curtain is too short.Atmosphere was great, and loved the decor and iutside sitting area

Cute place but ran out of towels and notified the maid that morning but did not get them until the next day at 6 pm. Did have a comfy bed! It was a nice town because you can walk most anywhere. The beach access was not good at all if you take a wagon. Parking was extremely expensive!! Overall it was good.

Great place for a weekend getaway

Really cute place to stay. Super clean, well appointed and very comfortable mattress. The grounds are really nice. My only recommendation is to either list amenities or update pictures. There was no info about coffee pot, dishes, silverware, etc. in the amenities list. We brought paper products and there was a picture of a Mr. Coffee so we bought grounds and filters. When we got there, there was a Keurig. While we love Keurig and have 100 pods at home, we were now forced to find a store. This is really minor and super easy "fix" to help customers know what to pack.

Great place

Really nice for one or two people. The bed was very comfortable. You had everything you needed to stay at the beach or bring home your leftovers and warm them up just enough to be comfortable. I enjoyed my two days.

The room we booked was very clean upon arrival and smelled clean too 😊 The bed was very comfortable, we slept so good!! The courtyard was a cool little area with plenty of seating and well lit at night. This property had everything we needed for our stay. The ladies there taking care of the property were so very nice and gave recommendations regarding things going on this weekend. Definitely will book again!!

Neat little place

With the area fenced and secluded from the surroundings it made it a good little 'hide away' from the surrounding noise. Room was clean and the layout was acceptable. We were the only tenants there this time and enjoyed our stay with hopes of returning.

This is our new favorite place!

We decided to get out of town for the long weekend and stumbled across this place online bc it’s dog friendly. We absolutely loved it and have decided this is where we will stay for all our beach weekends. The ladies that manage the property are so sweet and accommodating. We were close to everything and the room was very clean and comfortable. We have zero complaints, and the only suggestion that we would make would be to replace the Keurig coffee maker that’s in this room. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We’ll be back soon!

Unsafe vibe

The room was nice and clean but the outside was poorly lit at night and not in a very safe area. I only stayed one night because the guests next to me were loud and made me feel uncomfortable.

Fun Beach Experience

My daughter, grandpup and I had so much fun staying here. We were looking for something unique and fun and that’s just what we got. Fun beach decor, clean, a short walk to the beach and great host communication. We’ll definitely be back with more family!

Beautiful Spot

Close to all the things, but quite place that’s set back in the corner. The sisters on site were amazing and helpful! Renting their golf cart on is the way to go!

Nice place for a beach stay.

The room was decorated nicely and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding smelled amazing. Shower was great and the smart tv was a nice touch. Check-in was super easy. The location is good - you can easily walk to the beach in just a few moments. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here.

Perfect!!

The property was nothing short of perfect!!!! I’m always nervous looking at listings and then seeing the actual location in person because of past experiences with other places. But the room was absolutely lovely!! The room was very clean and cozy and we loved the theme!! The bed was super comfy. The location was great as we could walk to the beach, however since we had fishing equipment we took advantage of one of the 6-seater golf carts that the host had available to rent for daily pricing, which we loved exploring in. The rooms are dog friendly and family friendly, but there are only a handful of rooms at the rental location so it still felt quite private. We bumped into a couple staff who were cleaning rooms and they were extremely friendly and helpful, and the host typically responded very promptly to any questions. We were extremely happy with our stay here and would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises!?

Cozy family getaway

My husband, two year old and I stayed for a few days and it was super nice! Everything was peaceful, comfortable, and clean. Management was super friendly and accommodating. We had everything we needed to relax at our home away from home for vacation.

I like this location because it is steps away from live music,restaraunts, gyms and Pulix. Could not be more convenient.. It is also very quiet when inside the rooms. Or sit outside and enjoy the live music you hear from the local Irish Publ

Perfect

This attached cottage was one of best VRBO we have stayed in all the years we have rented using VRBO. There was everything we needed, the unit was spotless, bed and bedding super comfortable. It was thoughtfully decorated. It is short drive to beach and in close proximity to food and entertainment, There is a small courtyard, large parking area. This rental was perfect for us, 2 adults, 2 sm dogs, but we saw several families of 4 staying there as well. Safe room outside for kids, teenagers to be away from parents, but easily supervised.This rental is not made for people that need to do more than heat food in microwave. It has refrigerator, sink,dishes, microwave, adequate towels, etc. though it is attached to other units, it is quiet. We had one small problem with a leaking room air conditioner. The owner responded within minutes when we brought it to his attention. Only suggestion is owner to identify unit you have been assigned more clearly in arrival instructions, We will be booking Island breeze many times for future visits. Wonderful stay!

Loved it!

My fiancé and I stayed here with our dog for a short weekend trip. Very comfortable, well decorated and we could walk to the beach. We plan on staying here again in the future.... Loved it!
