“The hotel is nice clean and the beds were comfortable. Had issues with the thermostat but we fixed it. The breakfast buffet is good. Waffles eggs bacon sausage bagels biscuits and more. Coffee offered all day and delicious. We will stay again.”

“Great place. The staff, location and family atmosphere makes Captains Cove the perfect location for an old fashioned family beach vacation. After 15 years of visiting it feels like staying with friends and not just a hotel. I’ll be back soon!”

“I liked the fact that the rooms had cooktops but most extended stay locations offer the use of pots, pans, plates, spoons, and knives which this location does not offer. Everyone at the front desk was amazing, but the cleaners at the property need proper training. The room was not the cleanest and when they performed their weekly cleaning there were always things that were missed. I own a janitorial service company and we also do housekeeping so I understand the struggle with finding quality...

“The staff were super kind, attentive and conscientious. They took care of our needs as soon as we asked via text or by going to the office. The room was super small (300 square feet) as was the refrigerator. Fridge also didn’t get cold enough to safely store leftovers. Just be aware in case you need a real refrigerator, then book a bigger room.”

“Beach access excellent. Staff quickly responded to Overly noisy guests. Very clean room, Wished we had gotten 2nd floor for nicer view of beach.”

“Nice staff. Continental breakfast was perfect. Great location between Wilmington and Carolina Beach. Restaurants next door. Room floor felt a little dirty and wasn't able to use the pool due to chemical testing.”

“Everything was wonderful! The staff was very nice and helpful. Only downside was the bed….I have a bad back and it was very firm and felt lumpy.”

“We love The Starlite Inn! The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The air conditioning was cold. The Keurig was a nice touch; So much better than those other little coffee makers you find at most other hotels. Close proximity to everything was perfect! The only thing I would add would be hooks by the front door to hang hats and coats and a luggage rack. Other than that the place was great!”

“Super cute room, clean. Property was nice - only comment is we had a waterfront room on the first floor and shrubbery was very high and only allowed a partial waterfront view. Needs to be cut back.”
