This spacious 1-level luxury home is the perfect place for a beach vacation with the family, an extended stay or a remote work getaway. Take your next zoom meeting from our large outdoor saltwater pool (or our indoor office space) while you’re here, or embrace your inner yogi perfecting the art of vacation mindfulness in our upstairs loft fitness area.

Built in 2021, Barrett House was impeccably designed with spacious high ceilings and top-of-the-line appliances. With 5500 sq feet of indoor and outdoor space that’s lined with high-end travertine decking, you’ll have access to everything you’ll need to make the most of your time here. Spend your days lounging in our unique saltwater pool or hop over to clear your mind in the attached raised jacuzzi. Rinse off in the outdoor shower and then cozy up at night for dinner by the gas fireplace in the living room or the wood-burning fireplace in the outdoor screened-in porch. Or go for some quiet snuggles on the covered patio, while watching the moonlight glisten as it softly lights up the pool. With 3500 sq ft of spacious interiors, there’s plenty of room for everyone. Three of the bedrooms have king sized Beds and the 4th has a Queen, so there’s never any debating who gets the best room – because every room is the best room. Plus, they’re all equipped with full, ensuite bathrooms. The 4th full bath also opens up to the rest of the house.

Start each morning at the breakfast island in the main kitchen, cook brunch using brand-new stainless steel appliances, and don't worry if you have too much food–there’s a second “messy” kitchen off the walk-in pantry that’s perfect for overflowing dishes, setting up a sundae bar or extra prep work if you’re bringing dinner in from town. Centrally located on the island, next to Mike Chappell Park, Carolina Beach Skate Park and the Greenway path, Barrett House is right next to lots of outdoor green space and playgrounds that welcome biking, basketball, tennis, soccer and more. Leave your car at the house and grab our bike beach cruisers to go anywhere, from the beach to the park to the grocery store. Everything you could imagine is located just 7 to 10 blocks away, and easily bikeable or hop in the golf cart. The 4 seater golf cart has a town parking pass (saving you money). Drive straight to the beach access and use the golf cart designated spaces making it super convenient.

It's also a convenient way to get around the island and avoid the stress of driving your vehicle.

Good to Know Before Your Stay:

Verification & Rental Agreement
To help ensure a safe and secure experience for everyone, we use SafeGuest for identity verification and rental agreement review. After your reservation is confirmed, you'll receive a link with simple instructions to complete this process prior to arrival. A security deposit will be required through SafeGuest.

Check-In & Check-Out
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and check-out is 10:00 AM. These times allow our cleaning team the opportunity to thoroughly prepare the home for each guest.
During our busy summer season (Memorial Day through Labor Day), we are generally unable to accommodate early check-ins or late check-outs from Friday through Sunday due to tight turnover schedules. During the week, we are happy to check availability within 24 hours of arrival or departure. When accommodations are possible, a fee of $25 per hour applies for early arrivals or late departures.

A Note About Coastal Wildlife
One of the joys of the coast is being surrounded by nature. Our area is home to a variety of local insects, including spiders, ants, and palmetto bugs, particularly during warmer months. The home receives regularly scheduled professional pest control treatments, but occasional sightings can still occur despite our best efforts. If you encounter any concerns during your stay, please let us know and we'll gladly arrange additional treatment if needed. Seeing native insects will not be grounds for a cancellation or refund.

Television & Streaming
While this property does not offer cable service, smart TVs or Rokus are available for you to access your favorite streaming platforms using your personal accounts. Please remember to log out before departure, or remotely through your streaming service if needed.

Cleanliness
Our housekeeping team takes great pride in preparing the home for every guest, however everyone is human. If anything doesn't meet your expectations upon arrival, please let us know as soon as possible so we can address it promptly and help ensure you have a comfortable stay.

Respect for Our Neighborhood
This home is located in a residential community, and we kindly ask guests to be mindful of our neighbors. Quiet hours are between 10:00pm and 7:00am each day. Parties and events are not permitted in accordance with platform policies. Excessive noise or unauthorized gatherings may result in the reservation being terminated without refund.

Travel Insurance
We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your vacation investment from unexpected events. Reservations and cancellations are handled according to the cancellation policy selected at booking, and we are unable to modify reservation dates within 30 days of arrival.

Pool Information
The pool is typically open from early May through late September. Management reserves the right to adjust these dates based on weather, safety inspections, or maintenance needs. As with all outdoor pools, occasional leaves or debris may accumulate between routine cleanings, particularly after coastal storms.

Hot Tub Information
The hot tub is available year-round unless temporarily closed for maintenance, repairs, safety concerns, or other operational needs. Management reserves the right to close the hot tub without notice if necessary to ensure guest safety or proper maintenance.
