“The property is beautiful and nice. My wife and booked this for a one night get away. We were really looking forward to our time on the patio (since we paid significantly extra for beach front). The whole time we were there a man was doing construction right outside of our patio on tables and chairs. It was a BIG let down. I wish they would have warned us to err was going to be construction. “Ultimately, you get what you pay for.
In my opiniin, some prior reviews were not accurate.
The shower, sink/ciunter, and toilet were clean, but the room I stayed in is in need of renovation. While the sheets and towels were also clean, the linens were very old and way past the point of needing to be replaced. The bed was OK, but the pillows were very flat. The room felt a bit grungy and could use a deep clean, in the very least.

“The rooms felt freshly renovated in this historic building. The staff was friendly and helpful. The back patio area was very inviting. Our room was spacious and had more amenities than I was expecting (like a tiny kitchenette area). I do wish the bed had more than two pillows on it. We arrived after hours so we didn’t have the ability to ask for more. Other than that, I would stay here again.”

“I did not like that Vagabond Motel was actually a Motel 6. Everything on the building said Motel 6, the colors of the building and the staff uniforms sid Motel 6 but the man at the front desk said "this is a Vagabond Motel. Go figure. My room smelled like a family of chain smokers just left. The manager did give me another room but maintained that I was mistaken, that all of the rooms were non-smoking. I'll never go back.”
