“I stayed here with my mum for 2 nights to be near my brother. The host was so lovely and helpful. Big thank you. We had a great stay in the apartment and would definitely stay here again. It was perfect. My mum is 83 and could come through the main entrance. No need to use the fire escape stairs. The parking entrance is opposite the shop Lords hardware shop. Only saying that as there’s lots of options and even my satnav got confused!! Bonus that there were community fire works whilst we stayed...

“Beautiful location and a really quaint and quirky hotel built in the 16th century. A number of boutique shops locally and plenty options for eating and drinking. Really friendly staff happy to help. Private car park with plenty of spaces.”

“The accomodation was clean and tidy with basics of tea/coffee/television and basic toiletries in the bathroom. Food was available within the main building and was "usual" pub fare, generous portions and for the area was reasonably priced. Would I stay there again?, if in the area and needed accom.. then YES I would book again.”

“The location is absolutely beautiful and incredibly picturesque. Our room was amazing, very spacious, spotless, and featuring a fantastic double shower which was a real highlight. “I feel bad that I have had to give a mix rating because I feel everything about our stay was going well until I suffered food poisoning. I woke up at 2am in a lot of pain and spent two hours in the bathroom vomiting. Earlier that day I had the king prawns and at dinner I had the flat iron steak. “Beautiful surrounding. Hotel property is ok. On the first day at the reception I was given a room that takes about 6 minutes to walk,I went with 2 suitcases up a steep hill till the hotel area.the weather was really really hot.was not offered for someone to give me a hand! Then 1 flight up no lift.came there was exhausted as hell.no a/c in the rooms only small fan.did not sleep well 3 nights.in the morning 7.50 a.m working was going on on the roof really loud noise..so could not enjoy some...

“Very run down and poorly managed hotel. Tv didn’t work, shower curtain was covered in mold, No clean towels as the took ours and couldn’t replace them for two days. People coming and going all night making a lot of noise talking in reception area that is right next to the rooms. Staff didn’t seem to care we didn’t have any towels for to days and hardly any sleep due to them talking loudly all night and playing music ”
