The restaurant was also excellent - with enough choice for 3 fabulous meals even though the menu didn’t change during our 3 night stay. You see José’s dedication to keeping the place clean and tidy and you can see him walking around feeding the animals and treating the vines. They have a nice bar with a few options including their own award-winning wine, which we very much enjoyed. Personally it was also nice to stay in a black owned business that looks and feels amazing! Can't recommend enough!”

There is no gym at the facility although there is a lovely spa. Location was great to explore the Quinta’s and vineyards of the Duro Valley. You do need a car or driver as uber is not easy to get. ”
