Oltre 150 acri privati, laghetto privato / rifornito di pesce, può ospitare fino a 10 persone, spazio per il campeggio, vista a 360 gradi sulle montagne, avvolgente portico a casa, energia solare, generatore di riserva, con tutti i comfort. Visione della fauna selvatica, escursioni, sentieri per mountain bike e attività ricreative all'aperto in una foresta di lavoro privata. Il Servizio Forestale degli Stati Uniti fa parte della proprietà per ulteriori esplorazioni all'aperto. Vivi pratiche di silvicoltura viva come caduta di legname, diluizione, spazzolatura, prevenzione incendi, impianto e controllo dell'erosione. L'obiettivo di Pratt Holdings LLC è di fornire una foresta di salute per le prossime 8 generazioni per godere.

A great place for families to unwind and get away from the city. The pond is stocked full of fish for fishing. You have hiking and mountain biking just outside your door. Mornings are extra special with a cozy wrap-around porch where you can sip your coffee while soaking in the beautiful views of the surrounding forest trees and mountains. It was truly a peaceful retreat waiting to be enjoyed.

The cabin was clean well stocked and relaxing it was a beautiful place. The pond was stocked with hungry trout i think everyone caught at least 1 just walking the property was peaceful

Great location for wedding guests!

Our family stayed at the Hideout on Pratt Mountain and really enjoyed their stay! Beautiful property, great communication, and super friendly and accommodating hosts! We will definitely be back! :)

Family camping trip

We had tons of fun. Our boys loved having the option of board games and playing pool inside or campfire, fishing and exploring outdoors. It was a nice balance for all of us.

Such an amazing relaxing get away!! 10/10 recommend! Will be back soon! The property was so amazing and breathtaking in beauty. The host was there at the drop of a dime for anything I needed! So many extras that arnt even listed in the add like horseshoes tetherball and every game you could imagine! Had so much fun connecting with my kids with games I grew up playing!! Can’t wait to come baxk

"Camping" at it's best!

Everyone had a great time! We all had our own space and then great big kitchen to share with meal prep. The cabin has amazing views of the mountains from its wrap around porch but my favorite part of every day was looking up at the stars while enjoying the snap and crackle from the fire pit.

Relaxing hideaway

This was one of our favorite family trips! Completely isolated from anyone else on 200 acres of private wilderness to explore. The property manager got back to us right away when we contacted him with questions. We loved exploring the trails around the property on mountain bike. We look forward to visiting again!

Slice of solitude

Our family of 4 had a wonderful time relaxing and connecting at the Hideout on Pratt mountain. We enjoyed many beautiful hikes around the property and the kids really had a great time casting for fish at the pond! The house was clean and well stocked/organized with lots of games, puzzles and amenities too! Owners were easy to connect with via text and very responsive to any questions.

Get Away

Beautiful quiet relaxing property. More than we expected for an "Off Grid" home. Had all the luxeries of a modern house.No reason to leave for 3 days. Owners are very accomadating and strive hard to give you an incredible experience. Enjoyed the solitude. Thank you Ken and William.

Best birthday,s/Father's Day weekend ever!

If you're looking for peace and serenity this is the place to be! The Pratt family went above and beyond for my disabled wife and made her birthday wish come true of living the mountain life! We are already making plans for next year! The 4x4ing up and down the mountains is awesome! Nothing but green every where, fishing on the pond with my family while listening to the wind blow through the trees and seeing wildlife was priceless! We made beautiful memories here and can't wait to make more! Thank you so much!

Just what we hoped and needed

I’ll be brief, but only because it’d be impossible to detail the care and authenticity we received from Ken and William prior to, during, and after our stay, without a very lengthy post. Simply put, their hideout makes you feel like part of their family, making it easy to forget the grind of daily life. Their commitment to making their home feel like their guests’ is evident at every turn, from Ken’s immediate communication, detailed directions and instructions, on-site preparation, special touches, and his and William’s timely availability. They nailed it at every turn, every climb, every gate, every hummingbird, every huckleberry, every fire, and every starry night.

Wonderful

What a wonderful place! The property is beautiful and completely secluded. House was clean and had everything you could want. The wrap around porch is a great place to sit and take in the scenery, and the owners were very helpful and responsive. We went with the idea we would go into Cascade/McCall to get groceries, and it ended up a little further than we thought. Expect about 40 min of driving after you leave the highway at Smith's Ferry. I would suggest bringing everything you want with you for your stay so you can spend your time enjoying the property and exploring rather than driving up and down the mountain! I would love to come back and stay again!

Peaceful serenity

I booked this property looking for a get away for my family, a place to get out of town and away from it all a quiet place to just relax and reset. The Hideout on Pratt Mountain was that place!! I far surpassed all of my expectations!!! Beautiful home with all of the accommodations, very friendly owner easy to communicate with before during and even after our stay. Beautiful location, quiet, peaceful, you could hear the birds see the wildlife from birds and squirrels to foxes and moose, we even got the pleasure of hearing wolves howling in the distance. I was able to get my children off of electronics and out into nature now they are asking when we can go on our next adventure. I would wholeheartedly recommend Hide Out on Pratt Mountain to anyone looking to get away!

Paradise on Pratt Mountain

Off the grid is right... solar and hydro power with a large back up generator. Everything you would ever need for a fantastic Family vacation. Stocked full of games, darts, pool, and even chess. The pond is a short hike down the hill and a breathtaking spot to relax. Didn't catch a fish, but that isn't really the point for me... that's just a bonus. The ONLY thing I wish I would have brought, would have been a pillow I am comfortable with. We all have our sleeping habits that we get used to, and I prefer a harder pillow. Overall, we can't wait to go back next year! Thank you Ken and William for all of your hospitality, and to the entire Pratt Family for allowing us to take a glimpse into your Family history.

August Recharge at the Hideout

Great pre-trip communication with owner (Ken) and detailed directions to the home location resulted in quick and easy check-in. Home location is definitely off the grid, so if you enjoy solitude, this is the place for you. Make sure you pay close attention to the directions because it's not super easy to find, but it's well worth it once you arrive. The house was great and is a fantastic launching pad to explore the area and come back to after adventuring. Appliances worked well, beds were comfortable, and the upstairs has plenty of stuff to keep the kids occupied when not outside (pool, darts, etc.). The deck was also awesome. It's big, wraps around 3/4 of the house, and provided some very nice views. The pond was awesome and we spent a bunch of time there. Fishing wasn't great during our trip, but we did catch several 9-10 inch rainbows. The resident muskrat and other wildlife around the pond were fun to watch too. If you like hummingbirds, this place is where you need to be. The feeders on the deck were constantly being visited by 15-20 hummingbirds. It was really cool watching them from the deck only 3-4 feet away.Our trip was great and I would definitely recommend The Hideout to others. I will definitely come back in the future. The owners were very helpful (and understanding when one of the kids accidentally broke something). The Hideout is a unique place to relax and recharge in a serene, isolated environment while still enjoying all the comforts of home.

Pratt Mountain Getaway

From the initial booking, the host (Ken) ensured we were destined for a great trip. The communication was appreciated. We had every detail emailed, and texted to us. We knew exactly what lay ahead for us. The location itself was an adventure as the house was nestled on top of a mountain. Don't be surprised when you drive through some steep dirt roads, again, the host tells you up front that you need a good vehicle. Once we got to the house, it was just as advertised. It's a beautiful location, secluded, and surrounded by trees. The pond was a lot of fun and just a short hike from the house. We had a great time hanging out, going for hikes, mountain biking, chatting by the fire pit, and gazing at the stars. When we weren’t outside, we were having fun playing pool and darts. We occupied all three rooms, and if you’re going to as well, the room next to the bathroom has the best mattress. Oh, and something I didn’t pay attention to was that the rooms didn’t have curtains so if you need it to be dark to sleep take an eye mask. I used a t-shirt, and it was fine. Also, bring your own pillows. We got lucky with the weather, slept with windows open and didn’t get too hot. It also wasn’t cold enough to start the wood heater but was there if needed. The kitchen had everything we needed. The fridge kept everything cool. I could go on writing about this place but my advice is just check it out. Pay attention to the description, follow the host’s directions, ask questions if you have them!
