“Very dirty hotel. The carpet on the floor hadn’t been properly hoovered before our check in and there was dirt / dust / stains all over chairs and other surfaces. The room unfortunately smelt of smoke (even if it’s not allowed to smoke there apparently) and the sink in the toilet was missing the knobs. Overall a terrible hotel. The only ok thing was the bed. Not uncomfortable and decent bedding. Also - the personnel at check in was very nice and helpful :) ”

“I would not recommend staying at Beach Motel & Suites in Old Orchard Beach. My experience was extremely disappointing from the moment we arrived. The property was nothing like what was advertised. Our room was not properly prepared—we had to purchase our own bed sheets because the ones provided were unacceptable. It was a special adventure and the staff tried to work with us to help us enjoy our visit after arriving very late at night for a one night /one day stay. “We did not automatically receive the door code from Expedia. For 2 hours I worked with tech support (AI) and online Chat, finally a real person who sent me an email address for the property manager. After two hours I made the decision I needed to find alternate accommodations. I did finally receive the code, after I had another place. Neither the property nor Expedia is willing to give me even a partial credit for the unused room. I won't be booking a room through Expedia again.”
