Ready for the perfect mountain getaway? Whether you're a couple looking for a romantic weekend, an outdoor enthusiast, or a family with kids, this cabin in the Blue Ridge Mountains is the perfect setting to relax and make memories. This recently updated cabin sits on 1.5 wooded acres, promising you privacy, peace, and quiet - the only sound you'll hear is the nearby stream. After you've spent the day exploring the outdoors, you can enjoy a drink on the back deck or curl up in front of the fireplace. The fire pit provides a spot for making s’mores, stargazing, and watching fireflies.

The cozy living room has a smart tv and plenty of board games, puzzles, and books for those relaxing mountain evenings. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to cook meals, and there's also a great variety of fabulous restaurants around for the times you don't want to cook. When it's time to rest, we've made sure that our beds are super comfy for a great night's sleep. The master bedroom features a king size bed and the second bedroom has 2 twins. The cabin's been tastefully decorated and is equipped with all the comforts of home. Travelling with kids? We offer a pack-n-play, high chair, step stool, kids plates/utensils, and toys to make travelling with a family much easier.

The cabin is in a great location between Highlands and Cashiers - close enough to be convenient, but removed enough to enjoy the peace and quiet! Close to hiking trails, Lake Glenville, multiple golf courses, shopping, skiing, and more! A fantastic year-round destination with something for every season. We have a detailed welcome book to give you ideas for things to do, see, and eat in the area, and we're always happy to make recommendations to help you plan your trip! So come unwind, relax, and enjoy the mountain air. Longer stays are welcome, contact host for more information.

Cozy and Quiet

We loved our stay. The cabin was clean, cozy and the neighborhood is very quiet. The kitchen was well equipped. The porch and the out door fire pit area are lovely. We would definitely book this home again. The owner was also very easy to communicate with!

Perfect weekend get away!

This cabin was just the way it was described, peaceful, very clean and everything you need or want for our stay. Simply perfect. Liz was a wonderful hostess who answered my questions and gave us some ideas for great places to visit for breakfast/lunch/dinner, we were very satisfied with. We visited Cashier’s and Highland which are about 5 miles north and south from where we stayed. They both were beautiful little towns, very friendly people. I Highly recommend this beautiful cabin 10 stars and we will definitely be coming back soon. Thanks, Trena

Just What We Needed

Great cabin for a long needed vacation This cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed and then some. Not knowing the area very well, we ask our host for ideas on where to go for food and outings and Liz was so helpful. Check in and Check out was a breeze. If you are looking for a place to stay that is clean and quiet and doesn't have a 3 page list of chores for you to do before you leave, this is it. Will definitely be returning!

Home away from home

There were three priorities when I searched for a place to stay near Cashiers/Highlands . The rental needed to be clean, have an indoor fireplace, and a pretty view from the porch. This home did not disappoint. We were very comfortable and it had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this home to rent. Liz was very helpful and accessible. I would stay there again, and that to me , says it all.

Wonderful stay!

This property was excellent! The living room is cute and perfect for a family or a group of friends. The kitchen is well equipped as well. The beds were wonderful and the house location is amazing. If you are looking for quiet, peaceful surroundings located in the mountains near Cashiers, NC, look no more! This casually elegant cabin has everything you need for comfort while visiting world class hiking and waterfall destinations. Just minutes from great restaurants and shops in Cashiers or Highlands, but tucked away in the hills and forest. We hope to come back!

Cozy house in Cashiers

We went to Cashiers to attend my brother’s birthday weekend and found this house which was literally within walking distance to my brother’s home. Very cozy and comfortable…especially the bed in the main bedroom. Nicely equipped kitchen and very quiet location amongst the trees. Liz was very easy to communicate with and answered any questions we had promptly.

Perfect!

My husband and I didn’t want to leave! Our two weeks at the cabin flew by. Attractively furnished, well equipped and very comfortable throughout! Excellent rental!

Clean, beautifully decorated, peaceful, quiet, comfy bed, and no clutter! We didn’t want for a thing! Home stocked well with necessary products. Close to Cashiers and Highlands. Enjoyed the hike at High Falls (15 min away). The general store down the road has not only needed groceries but beautiful and unique gifts. Delicious meals at the Orchard Restaurant and Ugly Dog Cafe. Wonderful time and look forward to returning. One of the best VRBO rentals we have had! Liz perfect host.

Relaxing getaway

Property was exactly as shown in pics. Located on a mountain in Cashiers it’s modern and beautiful! Very comfortable and clean and spacious. Liz was a great host with fast communication and great local suggestions. The area is a gorgeous getaway. Be prepared for extra driving time due to all the mountain roads to get anywhere . We hiked and found 10 amazing waterfalls. The town is quaint but the people are so friendly. We highly recommend! A*****

Surprise Trip For Dad

My dad said we would visit the Cullasajah River some day, and we never got around to it. So, I surprised him with a birthday trip up there this year and man! This place is a gem! The cozy cabin was just perfect for our weekend. We cooked lots of yummy food in the well-equiped kitchen, used the suggestion to go grab lunch at The Ugly Dog (amazing food and atmosphere), and we slept so comfortably (even the twin beds are excellent for adults). The view from the back porch was amazing. Our pups loved the property as well. We couldn’t have had a better time. The place was immaculately clean and adorable. The driveway was even one of the better of the mountain cabins we’ve stayed in. Definitely recommend!

324 Jody Town Rd, Very Clean, Peaceful & Quiet cabin

This hideaway cabin was just great, from check-in to check-out! It was very clean, neat and comfortable. It was just right for two and would be just right for two more. The king bed was extremely comfortable and the bed linen was perfect, soft and plush, nice choice Liz. The kitchen and bath were appointed nicely, had everything we needed. The real bonus for us, was the living area with fireplace and the back deck. Very cozy and comfortable, rocking chairs were perfect! Wifi worked just fine. We enjoyed Cornucopia for dining out, great food, easy to get to in Cashiers. Highly recommend this cabin getaway, great host! We'll be back... Larry T.

Relaxing!

Your property is inviting and cozy. The tasteful decor and amenities are well suited for a relaxing weekend retreat. The wooded site was a tranquil backdrop for a rainy weekend, but that was fine for us, as the well equipped kitchen gave us all we needed to cook, eat, stay in, read, watch movies, and just relax. Overall.

The cabin is very well equipped everything you need, except for place mats for dining table and coffee table. It is spotlessly clean and the decor is what you want in a cabin. Just a little too far for comfort from Highlands on an evening when driving back from dinner in the dark. It is better to go to Cashiers much closer. Will come back again.
