Cozy rustic cabin
We enjoyed this cabin in spite of it’s fairly remote location. The deck, front porch, sunroom and fire pit gave it a homey and relaxing feel. The beds were very comfortable, and there were nicely renovated bathrooms. The property is a bird lovers’ paradise, with multiple feeders in the yard.

Ladies Getaway
We stayed for a Bachelorette party. It is rustic and aways out there, but so worth it! Very clean and has everything you need. Plenty spacious and comfortable. We cant wait to make a family trip next time.

Yearly Family Trout Trip
Trout Fishing with family in the Driftless Area has been our get away for years. This little gem of a property tops them all. As our family has grown, so does the need for space. Man, what beautiful surroundings this place has to offer inside and out. Our growing family (dogs included) could not ask for more. It is our definite destination each Spring.

Ski festival weekend
The home and property were beautiful. Perfect for our group and very close to the snowflake festival grounds. Hot tub was perfect for warming up❄️ Would highly recommend this place😊

A blessing in a valley
We really felt like we were at home. The hot tub was a great addition to the hiking and snowman building. . It was a beautiful property. I hope we can come back when we can see the property with no snow. Thanks again for sharing such a blessing. I would love to know the history of the property. You have truly made it a home!

This property and all is outside beauty is amazing. Anyone looking to get away from the city and all its noise has found the perfect spot. Shhh...don't tell anyone and give our secret garden away.

Great cabin, terrible garbage smell
The cabin is great and location is beautiful and peaceful. House was clean, comfortable and plenty big for our group to spread out. Decks were wonderful to sit on and the hot tub was great at the end of the day. Our one major complaint was that the dumpster on the property smelled horrid. It was overwhelming when you went outside (it's right by the driveway). If something can be done about that then it's about the perfect secluded getaway!

Great getaway!

Great Home in the Woods

Return trip this fall!
We rented in the spring and returned this fall as the property is just perfect for bringing together our families from Minneapolis and Chicago in a great setting with lots of open outdoor space and bon fire pit.

This is an amazing house so private our dogs loved the freedom of running around trails are extremely nice hot tub on back porch was a plus and the home is roomy and cozy grandkids loved it we will be back next year for sure

Girlfriend Get-away

Beautiful and Peaceful.
Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay immensely. The property is beautiful with a large yard and many, many trees. It is set back 3/4 mile from an infrequently used county road and there are no vehicle sounds, just bird songs and the sound of the wind through the trees. We barely left the property during our stay. It was so comfortable, we just wanted to stay there. The house is very spacious and well appointed. My children appreciated the wifi, tv, and hot tub. Leanne, the owner, was very helpful and accommodating. We are looking forward to returning soon.

Beautiful country home
We celebrated the birthday of our friend at this property. The house was clean and spacious with plenty of room for 8 adults. The grounds were beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

Great Get-away
We really enjoyed our stay! It is a beautiful property with lots of birds and room to run and play games. The layout of the house worked very well for two families to meet half way between Minneapolis and Chicago. The hot tub was smaller than we anticipated but we have already booked our return visit. 🤗

Cozy, Quiet, Comfort
Great place for a nature escape. Very private surroundings - Large flat grassy area for lawn games and interesting hiking trails nearby. The incredibly cozy 3 seasons room is where we spent most of our indoor time. The fabulous pellet stove kept us cozy with outside temps in the 40's. The presence of a landline telephone made us more comfortable since cell service is spotty. However, internet worked great. Netflix was a bonus! We plan on returning in the fall.

Amazing!
What an amazing experience! The house was fantastically organized and perfectly clean. Plenty of room for games, entertainment, and cooking. Porch with pellet stove was great for cold winter days. Absolutely loved the hot tub right off of the porch. The location of the property is truly unbelievable; very private and plenty of nature which is in perfect view while in the hot tub. We can’t wait to come back!

T'was a great experience!
The only issue we had was with the thermostat but, Joanne came by in 15 minutes after we called her and took about 20 minutes to fix it. So I would not complain at all! Over all it was a pleasant stay! We loved the hot tub :)

Beautiful secluded property
We used this cabin for a get away and it was perfectly that. It’s tucked away in a valley surrounded by beautiful wildlife but also a very updated cabin interior with all the modern amenities you could imagine. We had everything we needed to cook meals and also relax with some movies and TV. The hot tub was amazing and the wood pellet fireplace in the four seasons room is where we spent the majority of the trip. We will defiantly be looking to return in the fall with a larger group to share this experience as the bed rooms allow for plenty of guests.

Great stay!
Overall we had a great stay! We loved the remoteness of the location. We had fun making dinner, watching a DVD, and relaxing in the hot tub. This may have been slightly user error but there was no "welcome book" or any kind so for most of the evening we didn't know there was wifi, and neither my husband nor I had data service to check the app for the wifi situation. We would definitely stay again!

Fine but not our favorite
This is our 24th year of cruising in our classic cars. We enjoyed the seclusion that your place offered us, but theirs room for improvement. The cabin is advertised as having TV, but that only means dvds/movies. The beds were not very comfortable. The kitchen didn’t have full amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub. All in all, the cabin was fine, but not a place our group will return to.

College roommate getaway
We had a wonderful time here. The property is beautiful and quiet. The cozy cabin allowed us to enjoy our time together with plenty of space. The hot tub was an added bonus to sit back and relax. Will put this place in the must travel to again!

Girls Getaway
This property is so beautiful and secluded. The owner was amazing! Would most certainly stay again. The area Amush Stores were so fun to visit as well.
