Their communication via text messages and email to me before I arrived and during my stay kept me well informed. They have something very special here! I'll tell all my friends about the Abbey. “Summary: Won’t be back and I highly recommend you give it a miss on a $5 day (if the waterpark is open- make sure to check their calendar on their website). Good: Our room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was great. Bad: The waterpark itself is in dire need of updating (their social media says this will happen in fall 2026). It also seems that like the amenities are severely undersized- there were 50+ people waiting in line at breakfast, nowhere to sit, the lobby was packed as soon as...

“Excellent customer service”

“Best thing about the property was its location. Centrally located. Most attractions were within minutes in either direction. The suite was roomy but the TVs were oddly located in a recessed shelf in the wall that prevented it from being viewed anywhere but on the couch. The bathroom didn't have a fan which seemed odd. Initially the room smelled of cigarette smoke, but after housekeeping sprayed the room it helped a bit. For the cost of the suite, the stay was just so-so. Probably won't book...

“The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were polite with every interaction. When called upon or not the staff were very helpful. The ambience said, “high-end and snooty”, but the staff were down to earth and accommodating. My friends and I had a tight schedule of activities outside of the hotel. Therefore, we feel like we missed some of the activities happening in the hotel. We want to plan another trip so that we can enjoy the inside of the beautiful hotel.”
