Pros: they are renovating, new carpet, upgrading bathrooms and appliances etc. Now using texting for you to message issues/needs, and this is like having a concierge in your pocket. They are VERY responsive and helpful (e.g., needed a blanket for the pullout sofa,, and it was there within 5 min!). Very family friendly and you have access to the Grand Geneva except the pools which is super nice to have. Even during peak times there was little to no wait on slides. Rooms were very clean and sheets were crisp and made you feel like you were in a high end hotel.
Cons: the property is older and the bathroom tiles are moldy and in need of repair. Shower heads are minimal pressure/older. Seem to be having plumbing issues as our first room toilet backed up and the second room’s toilet made weird noises all night; lots of leaking on first floor hallway ceiling tiles that is pretty gross. However it seems like a work in progress as there were painters etc working a lot on making it better. Customer service in the waterpark cafe was super slow (15-20 min for a sandwich when we were the only order); waterpark pools and lazy river need resurfacing.
Overall I would go again. They are in the midst of renovating and super nice!
