Casselview Golf and Country Club: Tour e Visite Guidate

Considering the price, this is one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. I found it very dirty (the spiderwebs were impressive) and the breakfast was very poor ( no cheese, no ham, very bad coffee). I chose a place with a kitchenette, but there was no cutlery/ glasses/ plates. We asked reception and they told us to use the paper cups provided. I said you dont put paper in a microwave, but they said it was ok. And They burnt, of course! Fortunately, I took it out immediately and nothing happened but that could have been very dangerous

The apartment is what we expected. The neighborhood had great restaurants in walking distance and was close to McGill which was perfect for us. With saying this, we were not aware that it was right across the street from a night club and the noise was in the street until 4am. We quickly got ear plugs which made it better but did not get a great sleep in the 4 nights there.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay. The apartment was infested with bed bugs and management was unresponsive and irresponsible. Check in time was supposed to be at 4pm but when we arrived at 6pm, the apartment was not cleaned when we checked in. There was garbage in the bins, and the bed and mattress were even off the bed frames. Management did response when we notified them that the apartment was not cleaned on the first night and sent someone to come and clean the apartment. However, the next night we noticed a small black insect crawling on the bed covers and upon a closer look it appeared to be a bed bug. We then noticed another one crawling a few feet away on the same bed. There is definitely an infestation because they were pretty big. We immediately notified management that night, expecting management to take the situation seriously and address it appropriately. Unfortunately, management was unresponsive and did not response to my calls or text messages after that. We immediately booked another hotel and left the apartment in the middle of the night. I understand bed bugs issues can of course happen in hotel settings but the fact that management does not response at all is truly disappointing and unprofessional. I will definitely never stay on this property or any other properties owned by this company.
