“My host Daniella was very nice and helpful with local information. The last day officially I was meant to check out at 10am, but I was allowed to stay free of charge till 7pm, as my flight home was not until 9.30 pm. Danielle even gave me a lift to the airport. Obviously I was lucky nobody was checking in on the day I left and also that she happened to be free to drive me to the airport. Overall a nice quiet place to stay, only a 2 or 3 minute walk to the ocean.”

“The apartment was clean though a bit smaller than it looks in photos. I would have given a much higher rating but there was a sewer issue which the owner said was a city issue they couldn’t do anything about. The smell was so horrendous I couldn’t go into the bathroom without feeling nauseous. We tried keeping the bathroom door closed and stuffing towels under the door but the smell was still noxious. “I booked this property and several days later received an email stating it was not available “due to technical reasons “. What does that mean. I searched for a new property, and noted this one was still listed as available on my dates. I booked a different property. 2 months later it was still in my reservation list, the owner never canceled my reservation with Expedia. I called Expedia and spent over an hour of my time trying to straighten it out. It never did get removed from my trip...

“The apartment was perfect. The kitchen was quite functional although only a kettle, no coffee maker. Bed was comfy, as was the living space. There are about 10 steps to get to first floor apartment. There is no sign on the building or a house number. The front of the building facing the ocean has a restaurant on it. There is a Tommy market at the side street to turn on. Do not use the directions on hotel.com!! Get the coordinates from the owner!!!”
