The Barn at Bagnaie è una lussuosa villa toscana con 3 camere da letto, che abbiamo modernizzato e arredato secondo standard elevati.
L'interno mescola materiali tradizionali con un design moderno italiano. L'ampio soggiorno presenta un camino a legna, originali piastrelle in cotto e porte in legno che si aprono sulla terrazza sud e sui giardini. C'è una cucina / sala da pranzo separata dotata di piani di lavoro in marmo e dotata di tutti gli utensili necessari a un amante del cibo serio per poter gustare i prodotti del mercato locale e l'orto di Le Bagnaie. Ci sono anche doppie porte dalla cucina che conduce alla terrazza e al pergolato coperto di viti.
Al piano superiore ci sono 3 camere matrimoniali che hanno tutte il proprio bagno privato. Questi sono stati tutti dotati di piastrelle di marmo italiano e potenti docce a pioggia. Tutte le camere hanno una vista meravigliosa sulle splendide colline e viti che circondano la casa.
Il giardino paesaggistico privato della villa - ricco di ciliegi, melograni e fichi e con barbecue incorporato - circonda la proprietà e gode di una vista a 360 gradi sulla campagna, tra cui il lontano Duomo di Siena a sud e le torri di San Gimignano ad ovest.
La nostra villa si trova nella piccola frazione di Bagnaie, dove condividiamo la nostra collina con altre 7 case. Abbiamo un giardiniere a tempo pieno che gestisce i vasti giardini e giardini, nonché la piscina condivisa di 20 metri, riscaldata dal sole. C'è anche un campo da tennis che può essere utilizzato tutto l'anno e un campo da bocce.
Abbiamo un gestore di proprietà locale (che parla inglese e italiano) che sarà disponibile durante il vostro soggiorno per assistervi ove necessario.
Possiamo organizzare per la nostra cuoca locale, Serena, per prepararti un autentico pasto cucinato in casa. Cucinerà utilizzando prodotti locali e stagionali, spesso dal nostro orto o dal suo giardino dal villaggio vicino. Ti invocherà un pasto di 4-5 portate mentre puoi sederti sulla terrazza e guardare il tramonto o gustare un pasto a lume di candela sotto le stelle. Ti servirà la cena e farà anche il bucato!

Le Bagnaie Barn

Our stay was delightful in The Barn. It is located down a 2 mile dirt (“white”) road, but has spectacular views of the Tuscan hills and vineyards. Corin, the property owner, was very helpful with suggestions, answered questions asked and responded to inquiries quickly. Jacky, the property manager, was also helpful. There is a fairly large community pool immediately adjacent to the property; it can be somewhat crowded at times, but is well maintained by the full time maintenance man, Cosimo. All bedrooms and bathrooms are on the upper floor; having a bathroom on the main floor would have been handy, but the layout was very workable nonetheless. While we were there, temperatures reached 90F; all bedrooms have ceiling fans and are supplied with an additional portable fan, which helps in such weather, but air conditioning would have been ideal. One absolute bright spot was Serena; Corin suggested we consider having her cook for us and it was one of the best things we could have done. She is an absolute doll and her food is fantastic! We would highly recommend her—if you have her come but once, you will be disappointed you didn’t have her come more often. She is very popular and booking her in advance would be highly recommended…

WOW, Quintessential Tuscany!

I wish we could have stayed longer; such a beautiful location. The villa was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed meals prepared by Serena twice during our visit; she cooked multi-course dinners that were delicious. Highly recommend the property and Serena’s cooking. We look forward to going back!

Great escape!

Comfortable home amid lovely gardens and spectacular views. It’s just as pictured. Loved being able to eat straight from the garden or be pampered by Serema’s excellent cooking. I wanted to bring the estate kitty, Gino, home with me but he’s already living his best life at this truly singular estate

Relaxing and scenic authentic Chianti experience

This is one of those conflicted reviews. I’d like to keep Le Bagnaie secret so we can book in future but I can’t resist posting about the experience. I can’t fault anything about the stay. The check in instructions were easy, property is well appointed and spotless, spectacular views, great pool and beautiful district. We drove around the surrounding towns and wineries. Absolute perfection!

Everything about our stay was perfect - the house was absolutely incredible and the view was unmatched. Serena was the best part of our stay. Her food was incredible and she was a joy to have around. The best dining experience we had in all of Tuscany! We will definitely be referring all of our friends to this home and hope to come back many more times ourselves.

spectacular place

We had the chance to spend 9 nights at the Barn. This place is beautiful and you feel at home. You will have fun contemplating the landscape and the sunsets from the terrace. We are traveling with two young children and we had access to two bassinets and high chairs. The bath also very useful with young children. We recommend this place which is very strategically placed to discover many of the attractions of Tuscany. We recommend and can't wait to come back!

Tuscany Stay

Really enjoyed the property and views. As an option, having Serena prepare meals was a great decision. She was just a fantastic as her cooking. The place was clean, well maintained and just what we were looking for. Owner was very helpful and responsive too. Definitely a property I plan to stay at again.

Tuscan getaway

I stayed at the Barn with my elderly parents, my sister, my husband, and our 7-year-old son. The property accommodated all of us beautifully (although if there is more than one couple in your group you'll need to negotiate about who gets the lovely master bedroom!). Note that all bedrooms and bathrooms are located upstairs. The entire property is peaceful and serene, with gorgeous views of the countryside and surrounding vineyards. It wasn't quite warm enough for pool use during our stay, but this would be quite an asset during the summer months. We booked Serena for a dinner, which I highly recommend! She was professional, friendly, and efficient, and her food was delicious. Property manager Jacky checked in on us and had some great suggestions for local day trips. Overall, I recommend this property.

Elegance in Castellino in Chianti

We absolutely loved our stay at picturesque Le Bagnaie and hope to return. The property is breathtaking with panoramic views. The home is clean, comfortable and decorated with charm. The owner and the property manager are attentive and responsive to questions. We thoroughly enjoyed having Serena cook for us one evening and highly recommend it. Best Location and stunning VIEW

The stay at the Bagnaie was perfect. The location is the best for visiting the surrounding area. This is our third trip to Tuscany and we enjoyed this place the best. The pictures online does not do the views justice. Dinner on the patio area overlooking Tuscany at sunset is amazing. Book Serena to prepare meals for you. JUST DO IT! She is wonderful to come back to after a long day of touring and eat her delicious cuisine and watch the Tuscan sun slowly set from the patio. Perfection. The owner answered all my questions so quickly. We had an excellent week in Tuscany. It just went by too fast.

Incredible Property!

The property is actually undersold on the website. Such incredible views and beauty it is hard to capture in the limited photos. Location excellent, accommodation’s excellent, great place to relax, cook and drink wine with family and friends. Having Serena cook for you is an absolute must! Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful location, great home

I spent 6 days in October in the Barn, along with my husband and two other couples (ages 50 -72). The house itself was perfect for us. We did lots of cooking in the fully equipped kitchen, and used the wood BBQ outside most days as well. Serena cooked a meal for us and it was amazing. The living room also had ample room, and we used the wood fireplace a couple of nights, which was lovely in October. The house has 3 bedrooms, each with an ensuite, which was important for us and not easy to find. All the beds and baths are upstairs, which could be an issue for some travellers, but it worked for us. The views are spectacular! We planned to use the barn as a base to explore the area, but we ended up spending most of our time on the property because it was so lovely. We used the pool most days. The Barn is the closest home to the pool, but there were not many other guests in the other homes, so it was pretty quiet. That may not be the case in a busier season, but there is plenty of distance and trees between the pool and the Barn, so it is very private. The nearest town is about a 15 minute drive, so we did our grocery shopping there. We spent 2 weeks in 3 locations in Tuscany and this location and home was the best of them all. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities one would need. We would love to come back and would surely recommend it!

Beautiful stay in Tuscan countryside

We have stayed at The Barn at le Bagnaie four times and each vacation has been wonderful. The sunsets overlooking the vineyards are unforgettable. This visit was made even more special by the delicious meal prepared by Serena and served outside as the sun set. We can’t wait to return!

Perfect Tuscan escape

If you want to feel like you have come to Tuscany on a private estate, this is your place. It is a beautifully maintained private property with 7 villas and a gardener who keeps it pristine. The pool is huge. The Barn is the best house on the property I think because it is the one right next to the pool and it has the best views perched on the end of the hill. You cannot believe the views - the pictures are totally accurate. The house is so beautifully restored and preserved in original farmhouse style with bathrooms that have all been very comfortably updated with really nice stone. The water pressure is amazing too! Serena the private chef who is available to book not only makes great food but is also one of kindest people you will meet. I can’t wait to come back.

Wonderful Setting

We love Bagnaie. this is our second time in our second house. While all have been renovated, some of the kitchens are less updated than one would expect. Ours had screens and renovated bathrooms which is a huge plus. The doors on the first floor open up to the surrounds which is great for breezes and views. Did I mention the views. My goodness. they look over gorgeous vineyards with sunsets to die for. Corin's unit is near the pool which is great if you have kids. It also has a nice outdoor eating area. Overall, a great place to stay.

The Barn

Overall, a wonderful property in a spectacular location. We had a spectacular holiday. The property was well equipped but would have benefited from beer and Prosecco glasses and more plastic glasses to use around the pool. The Wi-Fi was sporadic and unreliable. The meals prepared by Serena were superb. We suffered a lot from mosquito bites and would have appreciated some guidance on how to handle them.
