“I have to say I waa really surprised at how nice this place was. The only issue for me (being a bigger bloke) was i couldn't fit in the shower as it only has a s.mall opening but I was able to get around .”

“Yes and Yes. 1 point. As an older person, my head is dropping to bits. I have a single tooth denture. Such thing is quite small. I tend to brush it under a running tap. Had I done this, there would have been a severe danger of it disappearing down the plughole and lost for ever (Cost £250). Because the plug mechanism is missing which leaves the drain hole completely open! (Room 5).”

“Room was very cold on arrival, very musty smell throughout the whole building, carpet in the bathroom which seems unhygienic, lots of dead spiders in the window and the room itself wasn't very clean. When I wanted to complain there was nobody around so ended up leaving the key at the desk and driving home ”

“pub is now closed but rooms still availble, you would need to go to another pub which is a 2 mins drive or 20 min walk for dinner. Lovely owner, very friendly.”

“Individual chalets. Motel style with ample parking. Rooms heated day and night. Shower hot and powerful. Bed comfortable. Pub and restaurant on site. Staff work hard but avoid breakfast Sunday morning 9 a.m.rush hour . We waited 35 minutes for order to be taken it arrived 20 minutes after. Easy to find as 5 minutes from motorway junction. Enjoyable and relaxing stay. ”

“Overall the hotel was ok. The bed was hard and a four poster, which wasn’t very tall, so I had quite a few head bumps. We stayed during the cold snap and the room didn’t have great heating, however reception did provide an additional electric radiator which worked perfectly. Overall staff were great, parking was easy, it is dog friendly but not all rooms are from what I could gather so you should check in advance if it’s ok.
