“I am utterly disgusted that this place is even still open, arrived at 7:50pm and told we had to find food elsewhere as kitchen shuts at 8pm, then was told they were not aware we had a room booked and she would have to call owner to confirm! Said she would call us back while we found something to eat as his phone went to voicemail!!!!! We then get a call to say yes they have made a room up! I then asked if they were aware we had a full English breakfast the next morning… again no they didn’t!!...

“Lovely food, lovely rooms, very friendly. Good range of beer/cider on tap including duration beer, aspalls and neck oil. Lovely traditional pub with open fire would highly recommend. Staff are very welcoming.”

“Everything was perfect, the staff were very friendly. Sorry I can’t remember his name but the barman was first class, he remembered how I liked my drinks without me saying anything.The food was perfect.
