“Nice, old fashioned hotel, with beautiful dining and tea rooms, lying in the middle of splendid trees and green fields (mostly part of the golf course). Bedroom is lacking a bit on the soundproof, but for the rest nothing to complain about. Excellent breakfast and diner.”

We were met by the friendliest member of staff who couldn't do enough for us, the room was a good sized, clean and very comfortable with 3 beds and a large modern bathroom. “Cosy retreat, away from the hustle and bustle. Simplistic but everything we needed. Beautiful walks. Great and safe for our elderly dog who enjoyed the freedom. Good location to visit lochs etc.”

The boys were concerned about the safety of their bikes - but needn't have been as they were taken and locked in the function suite with bikes from another family attending the same race.
