We loved our stay at Donalea. Second time there and it won't be our last. Attention to detail is first class. Breakfast was really well catered. Homemade preserves & breads, stewed fruits, yoghurt and a variety of cereals. Nothing too much trouble. Comfy bed, a view to wake up to and beautiful garden to roam. Can't rate high enough. Don and Leanne fabulous hosts.

Country serenity at Donalea Bed and Breakfast
Amazing accommodation tucked away in a country atmosphere with water views. The accommodation was large with a seperate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and loungeroom making the living space very comfortable. Although close to the road it was exremely quiet and serence. Very lean and well equipped accommodation. Highly recommend.

Nice 2 bedroom unit!
Very nice unit, clean and cosy. The unit was very cold when we arrived in rain and after a long drive, it took a good 2-3 hour to warm up the entire unit, no heating in both rooms but the electric blanket was sufficient. A heater would be an improvement in the bathroom. All in all a good place especially for family.

Terrific B & B
Terrific B & B, host's were very welcoming. Had the 2 bedroom suite, very cosy, beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nice with cereals, yogurts, fruit, toast, milk, etc. Heating worked very well during the cold period we had. All in all, a great location to discover the Huon district.

Beautiful stay
We had a lovely stay at Donalea bed and breakfast. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room. Lounge room had a great supply of DVDs and books and Don had the fire going for us. Breakfast was great with fresh berries

We booked at the last moment and weren’t really sure what we were getting but very pleasantly surprised, a lovely country cottage feeling with nice views of the garden and river. Everything you could want in the kitchen, big bathroom and comfortable lounge room. The beds were comfortable and best of all they had electric blankets.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like. Best accommodation in Tasmania in our 19 days in the state. Highly recommended.

The hosts were very friendly and warm while their breakfasts were absolutely delicious. The garden was also very inviting and well presented. We also found the residence was conveniently located.

It was like a home away from home. Comfortable and roomy. The property is like a botanical garden. My wife and I wished we could have spent more time to explore the property. The hosts Leanne and Don couldn’t have done anymore to welcome guests. Also the breakfast is something you need to try for yourself, even down to the home baked breads 👍

Super schönes B&B mit perfekten Gastgebern
Das B&B hat 2 super schöne englische Zimmer. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend! Das Frühstück ist grandios! Die Brote und Marmeladen sind alle hausgemacht. Einfach eine super Unterkunft von A bis Z.

Best b&b we have stayed in on our many trips to Tasmanian,Don and Leanne are the perfect hosts ,going well above what was expected of them to make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible,this is our second stay there and won’t be our last

Country Cottage Getaway
Don and Leanne are very hospitable and welcoming hosts. They were very friendly and informative and made us feel very comfortable. The accommodation is set amongst beautiful cottage gardens with ample blooms and overlooking the Huon River. We stayed in the 2 bedroom unit, which had a very comfy cottage feel and was presented impeccably. (The photos don't do it justice). The property is very centrally located in the Huon Valley, just a short drive to amenities in HuonVille.

Wonderful experience .Made to feel welcome from the onset .Great parking , nothing was too much trouble.Loved the finishing touches like fruit cake, bickies and chocolate with a cup of tea or coffee.Also liked the local history and imformation that was shared. Breakfast was wonderful, a variety cereals, yoghurt, jams, honey and marmelade, stewed and fresh fruit . The highlight being the freshly baked bread,available in wholemeal, white and a very tasty fruit loaf. A very lovey touch.

Thoughtful host in lovely house
Gave great advise on dinner options and our future travel ideas. We booked late but room was all ready and so comfortable. Spa before bed after sitting in front of log fire was a highlight of our holiday.

Great base to explore the Huon area
What a relaxing stay - and perfect for exploring the Huon area. Leanne and Don are wonderful hosts who provide a home away from home. Huge room and bathroom. Excellent breakfast with plenty of options, while enjoying lovely views over the water. Loved the home made bread and jams. Will return the next time we visit the area.

We had a greet time at this bed and breakfast the people who run the place were so pleasant to deal with. They made you fill relaxed and welcomed. It was a wonderful stay.

Well positioned in the Huon Valley for day trips
We had a large room with separate bathroom and toilets, access to the garden courtyard and comfy lounge. Owners were great and loved our stay.
