Dan is a great host, very accommodating and responds quickly to any questions you have.cottage very clean everything you need for a great stay. Fishing was fantastic right off the dock didnt even need my boat. Thanks for everthing Dan.

Relaxing get-away
This cabin was a cozy mid week get away for my wife and I. It was clean and well maintained. The lake and State park access were very convenient and we really enjoyed our hike through the park nature trail. It was only a short drive to either Castleton or Fair Haven, which had many conveniences. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a quiet time away.

Sunset on the Lake
Great little lake cabin. It has all the amenities you would need. We enjoyed it so much, we would rent it again. Loved the cabin location, it was close to the local towns and to Lake George. Everyone we met was so nice and kind.

Perfect Weekend
My wife and I (along with our 3 kids) had an incredible weekend of kayaking, hiking, swimming and relaxing at this amazing lakeside cabin. The house was very clean and comfortably slept all 5 of us. There are plenty of great places to eat within a short drive as well. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend by the lake

Peaceful retreat
The lake was perfect for kayaking, the cabin was cozy and there is so much to do! My kids loved venturing over to the state park and fishing off the dock. I loved reading at the end of the dock and watching the gorgeous sunrises!

Beautiful lake and very comfortable camp
Great spot to park and use our boat for a week. Smooth boat launch and marina nearby. We enjoyed the dock, the fire pit and morning coffee on the 3 season room. What a view! We saw an incredible rainbow from the window over the lake. We recommend The Lake House restaurant on the water. Beautiful. The cottage is very close on one side to the neighboring camp and the two camps share a swimming area. It was not a problem for us.

Cabin was great, we were able to park boat and wet bike on dock. Fishing was fantastic. One of the prettiest lakes in the entire country. Family that owns the two cabins are super nice. We hope to be back!

Beautiful Location
Beautiful location. We chose to stay here because it’s close to where we used to rent years and years ago. The loft was a little difficult to get up to as an adult. Would be great for an older kid or teen. Will definitely look into renting here again.

Beautiful location!
My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and plenty of room for the 5 of us. The property is so private and gorgeous. Kayaked every day and roasted marshmallows by the fire pit. Dan was a perfect host and was very prompt to get back to me when I had questions. So much to do in the area. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful!!!
Perfect location. Easy to see and do many things. Pond Ranch horseback riding at the most beautiful time of the year. Middlebury for flatbread and hiking at silver lake Lana falls. Quiet nights with fire at the lake. House is lovely. Highly recommend

Easy and fun for a short weekend
The property was as advertised, and had as much as we needed. The lake was beautiful and quiet for the most part (just a few jet skis when I expected many more), with easy access to highways and towns in the area for exploring. It was a great base camp, simple and perfect for three.

Clean house, beautiful lake
Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean, and the scenery was amazing. We picked apples up the road at Cobble Knoll Orchard, which we highly recommend as well. Owner was quick to respond to questions we had while we were staying in the house. We highly recommend this place!

Best honeymoon getaway!
Although we only stayed two nights, this was the most private and quiet honeymoon getaway my wife and I could have asked for! It was nice to unplug and just enjoy each other ! The house is so charming & the fireplace is amazing! The views are breathtaking & there is so much to do if you don’t mind driving a little! Highly recommend this place if you are looking for some true relaxation and downtime!

Fishing weekend

Beautiful
This house was clean, newly updated and beautifully decorated . The view was spectacular from the yard and the house. The water was crystal clear and it was so nice to have a raft to swim out to. Altogether, a wonderful place to stay.

Great Place to get away!
What can I say! This is the second time we have stayed a week here at Dan and Jill’s property. It’s small but cute and quiet! We always enjoy our stay and enjoy the accommodations that Dan and Jill have set for us! We are looking forward to our stay next summer!

Awesome stay on the lake!
We stayed with a group of 6 for a family reunion. This property has hiking, is very private, very comfortable and clean. Well-stocked. Would stay here again. Great week! The kids loved swimming, rafts, games, amazing!

July 4th Week on Lake Bomoseen
We stayed with 5 adults (two parents, 3 college age young adults) and had a great experience! The waterfront is perfect - plenty of room for sunning and the water is crystal clear. Great fishing from the docks! The house had all the items necessary for a comfortable stay. Caution to anyone bringing a boat - there are a number of extremely large rocks right by the dock where you would tie up and enter/exit to cruise the lake. We would recommend putting your boat in the water after you survey the area to understand how to approach the dock.

Could not ask for a better location, well appointed amenities, including a great dock for boating, paddling boarding or fishing. Friendly neighbors, and what a view. Great communication with owner, highly recommended. Perfect if you are active or just want to relax.

Excellent Vacation Experience
What to say, absolutely excellent place to get away on Lake Bomoseen. The house is super cute and clean. Small but elegant. My family enjoyed our stay and will definitely be staying at this property in the future. One of the best highlights of this property is that it is tucked back in one off the busy part of the lake. The owners of this house are great to talk to and very accommodating. I would give this house 10 stars if I could.

Awesome girls weekend getaway!
This place was spotless, remote, and the views are just gorgeous! It was a perfect place to get together with friends, sit by the fire, and enjoy the mountain view from the dock. Would definitely return in the summer to swim in the lake when it's not so chilly.

No bed sheet no pillow case was something that I never experienced before it a little unexceptional and you have to cleanup very good before you left it a little unexceptionable also I think we already pay for rent.

Quiet, clean, lake is gorgeous. A little musty but it’s so damp it can’t be helped. Would be nice to include linens especially when renters are coming from out of state. Overall lovely

Great Bomoseen stay
The property is a classic Vermont summer lake house, recently updated. Booking and check-in was a breeze, and communication with the owner was first-rate. Our experience was truly exceptional because, on top of the above, we had the best weather of the whole summer during our stay. Will definitely be on our list for next summer.
