“Salle de bain horrible et peinturer pour camoufler de la moississure, couvre lit tâché a l'intérieur. Lieu extérieur plutôt délabré..je n'y retournerai pas..le gars a l'accueil tres sympathique, café gratuit le matin”

“The owner\hostess was rude and obsequious. She has a footwear issue…..and offered used slippers as an alternative. The physical plant was fine. This is not a hotel….it is her and her yapping dogs home. I don’t pay $300 for a lecture.”

“North Star was so beautiful . We had an ocean view room which was amazing ( thank you Mrs MacDonald for the upgrade) . All the staff were awesome especially Colin and Justin who own this wonderful resort. All the staff never stopped seeing that everyone was well looked after. “It was very difficult to get into pool area as the door wouldn’t work properly, there was a lock on the sauna, one of the three deck chairs had a big hole in it. The pool area did not look very appealing. I found our two rooms were kept clean inside and I liked linens but there definitely needs to be some maintenance done in the bathrooms. One of the rooms the toilet ran all night. Phones did not work and some of the doors to get into rooms were difficult to open. We had our two grandkids with...

“I feel that a 4pm check-in time is absolutely ridiculous. There are some guests that stay one night and are leaving on the 5am flight. With your check-in time those guests are not in your hotel for 12 hours and paying $300+ for the night. Beautiful hotel and view but 4pm is wrong. Hire some more cleaning staff again. Cutbacks are best in other sectors not cleaning staff.”

“Needs an update. Room was run down - holes in wall and carpet. Bed seemed to be broken. Staff were lovely and helpful. Breakfast was ok and nice not to have to leave hotel to find breakfast.”
